On the way back I couldn't believe that Brandan was still alive. Even if he was I never thought he would be back here. And his son! His son was with Jeremiah. He has to stay way from her I will not lose another lady to that family! Memories came rushing back.

**flashback (Mr. Lewis is Joshua)

16 year old Brandan and Joshua is stands around selling "that good stuff". Just then a carmel/mocha colored girl walks pass she has dark brown hair to her shoulders. Her sharp hazel eyes checks both of the boys out. James smiles at her, she smiles back revealing her pink and orange braces. Her dimples our deep as the Grand Canyon. Her bright pink sun dress dances in the wind as she gets closer to the boys.

??: Hi. *shyly*

Joshua: Wassup?

??: I'm Tammie.

Joshua: I'm Joshua but you can call me, Josh. *smiles*

Tammie: Well Hello Josh, I was wondering if we could you know hang out a bit?

Joshua: I'd like that.

Brandan: He would but you wouldn't . How about you hang with a real Nigga shawty? Someone who can treat you nice and good. *pulls out $200* and maybe even by you a little something too? *smiles*

Tammie wraps her arms around Brandan and they walk away leaving Josh in the dust.

Over the pass 5 months, Brandan and Tammie have been dating but their relationship is not so successful. Tammie feels that Brandan doesn't really care about her, he just wants her just to show off.

Tammie: Bae, can we please go now??

Brandan: Aye girl just chill ! I told you when I'm done selling this last package , we will go !

Tammie: Stop yelling at me ! I'll go with Joshua.

Brandan: Go with him then. I don't care.

Tammie pulls out her phone and calls Joshua and tells him to meet her at Luigi's , a local pizza place.

Tammie; Haha ! You are so funny!

Joshua; Well I try every night in the mirror.

Tammie; Oh shut up! *laughs them sighs* I wish Brandan was like you. Your so peferct.

Joshua: Trust me , I'm far from it. But in my eyes you are. I can't see how Brandan doesn't pay attention to you. Your amazing, sweet , down to earth and relatable.

Tammie; Oh my goodness. I'm so I'm love with you.

Joshua: Huh?

Tammie: I know. Weird right? Your best friends girlfriend in love with you? I can't believe it either but I always wanted to talk to you instead if Brandan but I guess the money got in the way. Then the money wasnt enough. I didn't want it, it didnt make me happy. You did. You was always there for me no matter what, you cared. Unlike Brandan, who just cares about the drugs and money, you actually cares about how I am and why I'm doing and I can't help but feel the way I do about you.

Joshua: *smiles* You don't know how much I wished you would feel the same way because I'm in love with you too. *kisses her passionately*

I grinned at the thoughts of my Late Love. God, I miss her. I looked over at Jeremiah who was staring out the window annoyed. I sighed. I try to be a good dad but I seem to only fail. I don't want her to be like me or Tam, joined the wrong crowd , had a baby at 15 and died before she turn 18, in Tams case. I drove up to Baskin Robins . I asked the girls if they wanted something.
