This contest believes that LGBTQ deserves to be represented in a serious manner that follows that tradition of being embedded in the genre, as it has been since the beginning.
You will have the opportunity to explore themes related to sexual identity and vampirism through horror, classic approach, urban fantasy and dark fantasy. The prompts are guidelines for judges, but once you choose your path, you can develop the story as you see fit. We would love to see representation of ALL elements of LGBTQ! Go for it!
- Stories must have a minimum of 1.5k, maximum of 2k words
- Stories must follow one of the given prompts. All stories must follow Wattpad's Content Guidelines. Mature stories will have to be marked as such, in order to be considered.
- Contest will open on June 1, 2020 and will close on June 30th, 2020 at 11:59 EST. Winners will be announced mid July.
- Submissions will be accepted through this form.
