Which story has the most influence on your writing career?

Twilight had a big influence on me when I was younger. The way Stephenie Meyer creates a mood in the story has moved into my own writing. Though it's not the thing that got me into writing, it has very much inspired me to continue to write.

Please describe the challenges you face as a writer.

The biggest challenge is the feeling that I'm running out of time. I've been writing on Wattpad for almost a decade and sometimes I feel like I'm not moving forward. Now that I'm writing with a full-time job, I find that I don't have the energy that I used to when I was in high school.

The one thing that gives me the motivation and that makes me feel proud about what I've accomplished is seeing people enjoy what I've written. That's what I want the most and when it happens it shows me that none of what I do is a mistake or a waste of time.

What did you reflect with your entry that you want your readers to feel?

I think I might have reflected myself actually. Linus is trapped in this small room and forced to do research for a cure. Is that what he wants to do with his life? No. Does he have to do it to live? Yes. I wanted the readers to feel how trapped he was in the situation. I've become a slave to my job because I have to and I think Linus was bit of a proxy for me. It's not what I had in mind at the time of writing but thinking back on it, it's an interesting idea.

If you have a chance to be a supernatural creature, what would you be and why?

Most definitely a witch. I could have magic and do some pretty cool things, but my life wouldn't be all that different than it is now.
