Kie and jj reached the carrera's door (I hoped I spelled their last name wrong I'm sorry if I didn't😬) and barged in. "Mom, dad, I'm home!"

Anyway back to the story
"Heyyy honey!" Her mom said smiling. "oh and jj! What a pleasant surprise!" Kie's parents weren't particularly fond of her friends, but they know jj's life had definitely not been as simple as the others, so they let him slide. "Hey mom can I talk to you for a sec?" Kiara asked. "Sure honey" her mom said with a concerned look. Kie led her to the other room while jj sat at a table. Mr. Carrera walked in the room and saw him sitting there. "Oh hey jj, whatcha doing here?" He asked. "Oh hey mr. Carrera! I just came with Kie she's talking to Mrs. Carrera." He explained. "Ok, you want some of these left over fries?" He said. "Uh, yeah sure, I'm starving!" He exclaimed. Just as Kie's dad was bringing over the fries, Kie and her mom walked out of the room. Mrs. Carrera asked to see Mr. Carrera and they walked back into the other room. "Ooh yum, fries!" Kie said with a smirk on her face as she grabbed a couple and sat down next to him. "So?" He asked. "My mom said it's fine with her but she's gonna talk to my dad first. Oh, and also she said there are gonna be a couple rules so get ready." She said laughing. "Fine with me" he said laughing with her. His facial expression changed to a slightly more serious one. He looked at his feet and looked back up at her. "Thanks for doing this for me Kie." He said "anytime." She said with a small smile as she pulled him into a hug. "I love you." She said. " I love you too Kie." He smiled while saying that. He knew she probably meant it as friends, but still, just hearing her say it out loud made it count so much more. Her parents walked out and Kie and jj pulled away from their hug. They looked at each other and looked back at her parents. "jj," mr. Carrera said, "It would be a pleasure to have you to stay here." He said while smiling. "Wait, really?" "Of course jj, you deserve it!" Mrs. Carrera said. "Thank you so much!" jj said. He got up and hugged them and hugged Kie when he sat down. She smiled. "Hey roomie." She said laughing. jj just rolled his eyes and playfully pushed her shoulder.
