Silver and Piper's date, Tails and Em's mech project, Knuckles guarding the Master Emerald, and now Shadow looking for a rare ingredient for a Night Vision Potion.

The Ultimate Life Form, the Princess's favor and a dream of a very rare flower:

Shadow had one favor for Princess Arkayna Goodfey; find an important ingredient for a potion. Why was he doing this? It all began when he had what he called a nightmare(the night when Sonic and Zarya fainted), and it went somehow like this: he was in Centaur Park in the early hours of the night, the Moon was on the horizon and everything around him seemed to slow down. He had a Chaos Emerald in his hand and a scroll in the other. He laid the scroll down, raised both arms up in the air and closed his eyes. In no less than a second later, he opened his eyes and saw a mysterious object, but his vision was blurred and he couldn't see the one of a kind beauty; something with a purple interior and an indigo exterior surrounded by green leaf shaped objects. Shadow all of a sudden woke up and found himself back in his bedroom. He went to go tell everyone about this dream regardless of his reluctance to share his thoughts and feelings. After telling everyone what happened in his so-called "nightmare", Arkayna took out a book that she recently read on abnormal occurrences to get a better understanding of Sonic and Zarya's situation, and found an article base on Shadow's dream. She then told Shadow that he actually had a vision based on a rare flower called the Nocturnal Orchid.
Arkayna then grabbed a scroll sized piece of parchment paper and performed a vision extraction spell that gave Shadow the location of this mysterious flora, and might I add that she needs this flower for her Potion of Night Vision. She then told the Ultimate Life Form that there is a summoning spell that could be of good use if all else fails. Which brings us back to the present. By means of his hover shoes, Shadow hovered through the not so bustling Centaur Park, through the still bushes, past the gently swaying trees, past all the animals and through the annoying woodsprites. "Why did it have to be me,"  Shadow thought, "C'mon, I'm the Ultimate Life Form. I should not be doing Arkayna's potion shopping. I have better things to do than look for something that probably doesn't exist." Shadow then stopped somewhere in the middle of the park and looked at his surroundings. The Sun had disappeared completely and the Moon was beginning to rise. "Or perhaps this vision," Shadow thought again, "this vision could come true and it isn't a waste of my valuable time." Shadow knelt down on one knee and paused. The only commotion that he heard was the creatures of the day settling down after a long day and the creatures of the night prospering in the darkness. Shadow looked at the position of the Moon. As expected, it was on the horizon. He placed the scroll that was in his hand on the ground in front of him. He whipped out a Chaos Emerald and skimmed through an inscription that was on the scroll. "Alright, here goes nothing," Shadow thought. He stood up, raised his hand over his head and closed his eyes. "Chaos Control," he called. Suddenly, everything surrounding him slowed right down. He opened his eyes and knelt down on both knees. He skimmed through the inscription on the scroll again, raised both arms in the air, held the Chaos Emerald in both hands and closed his eyes. "O, rare flora, now's the hour, embrace me with your gracious power, indigo exterior and purple within, I call upon your arrival in the black dim," Shadow called. The Chaos Emerald levitated out of Shadow's hands and produced a bright white light, then levitated back into Shadow's hands again. Shadow slowly started to open his eyes, hoping that his vision hasn't been affected. He sighed in relief when his eyes were fully open. His vision was as clear as it could ever be, and he saw what his "nightmare" has been trying to hide. The rare Nocturnal Orchid, it's leaves proudly protecting the beauty inside, it's indigo exterior and purple interior petals stood like beams of white light from a nearby star, it's appearance was unlike any other orchid in the Universe, the Cosmoverse or the Multiverse! Shadow plucked the majestic flower from the ground, reversed the effects of the Chaos Control all around him, picked up the scroll from the floor and was about to walk (I repeat, WALK) back to headquarters when he heard a short guitar solo from out of nowhere. Shadow rolled his eyes, sighed and took out his phone. "What does Arkayna want now," he thought, looking at the message notification on his phone. He opened the message from the princess and instead of a grim expression, he gave a rather concerned look on his face. "I have what I need,"  Shadow thought, and without any hesitation, he hovered back to headquarters using his rocket propelled shoes.
