Chapter 56

I got Bentley out of the car and his car seat.

We just got to my school. I'm happy to see this assembly.

"Baby do you want me to get the car seat just in case?" Jay asked

"Yes please. I have the diaper bag." I said

He nodded. I stepped back and did a little jump to push Bentley up. Justin got the car seat and we walked inside.

My friends ran up to me. Bentley had his head laying on my chest.

"Hey is this Bentley." Madison asked

"Ya and this is my boyfriend and baby daddy." I said

"Omgg Justin Bieber?" Lauren asked

"A year Lauren. Bentley is a year old you should of known by now that Bentley is Justin's son." I said

"Ya it was only all over the news." Harmony said

I smiled and nodded.

We all just giggled.

"Is Bentley asleep?" I asked

He looked up at me. I giggled.

"Nope." They said

We walked into the gym. The teachers all ran up to me as well.

I looked at Justin.

"Can you go get us a seat?" I asked

"Ya." He said

I looked at the girls and they went with him. I then looked at the teachers.

"He's so cute." Mrs. Norman my science teacher said

"Thank you." I said

Bentley looked at me and got scared.

"It's ok these are mommy's teachers there nice." I said

"Mommy." He said

He wrapped his tiny little arms around my neck. I smiled.

"He missed out on a nap so were gonna go watch the show and he's probably gonna fall asleep so were gonna go home and then I'll see y'all tomorrow." I said

They nodded.

I walked up to Justin and sat next to him repositioning Bentley to face the open gym part.

The principal walked out.

"Good evening mountain cats I'm Mrs.Echols the principal and I have a few announcements before we get the assembly going."

"As most or all of you know a student has recently had a baby she has help from the baby's dad but she still struggles."

"So we've decided to put in a day care so she can bring her baby to school leave him in day care then take him home."

My eyes widened and mouth dropped.

No one knows this yet but I was asked to say a few things about being a mom at my age.

"She didn't know that we did this but she still manages to get good grades with a baby so we asked her to say a few words and here she is me Winter Summers."

I handed Justin Bentley and walked down there. I grabbed the microphone from the principal as she hugged me.

Everyone clapped. I smiled and let it die down.

"I'm Winter Summers I'm 13 and have my own baby."

"I got pregnant when I was 12 and still went to school at first I was scared to because I thought I was gonna be bullied by all the students, I thought my friends were gonna leave me, I thought the teachers were gonna be rude to me but they were all surprisingly extremely supportive."

"Now I didn't agree to speak just so I can say it's ok to be pregnant at my age because it's not. It's no where near ok to loose you virginity at my age that shouldn't even be on your mind."

"When I got pregnant I kept it from my boyfriend who is also my sons dad for 12 weeks which is 3 months."

"He suspected something when I was growing bigger. I was scared he was gonna leave me say he wanted nothing to do with my son say it's not his."

"But he didn't he was supportive. My parents not so much they really wanted me to either get an abortion or put my baby up for adoption and for me adoption nor abortion is an option."

"Jay bring you and Bentley down here."

He stood up and walked down here. I grabbed Bentley.

"This is my son Bentley and my boyfriend who's also Bentley's daddy Justin. This is my family. My routine is wake up get Bentley ready for the day feed him then put him in his crib so I can get ready. I then make breakfast wake Justin up. Put on Bentley's shoes and my shoes get my stuff put Bentley in the car then get back there with him and drive off to school with Justin."

"It's really hard for me to concentrate sometimes because the only thing on y mind is Bentley. 'Did I change his diaper this morning?' 'I wonder if he thinks I left.' 'Does he miss me?' 'Is he hurt?'"

"Those are things that run through my mind all the time. So when I get home from school I wait until midnight to do my homework so I can play my music and concentrate."

"Being a teen mom is hard. Listen to me because I speak from experience. My son is my life he's my little miracle. If any of you teens or preteens wanna get pregnant talk to me first. When you think your ready your really not. A baby is very expensive and exhausting and sometimes annoying."

"So think of sex as a drug and just say no." I said

I looked at Bentley and smiled. Mrs.Echols walked up and hugged Justin and I.

"Thank you." She said

I nodded.

We walked back up there and sat down. I sat Bentley on my lap again.

Justin looked at me and kissed my lips.

"I love you." He said

"I love you too." I said

"Thank you Winter that was amazing the teachers and I started tearing up." She said

I smiled.

"Ok mountain cats lets start this assembly." She said

She set the microphone down and Justin stood up.

"Where are you going?" I asked

"Remember how I told you I have a school too perform for?" He asked

"Yes." I said

"That's this school." He said

"Oh." I said

He walked down there. No one really screamed because they've all sorta personally met Justin.

Ok I lied there was some screams. I have no idea why they didn't just scream when he was down there with me.

He smiled and started singing baby.

The assembly ended and we went home. I fed Bentley and Justin and myself and got Bentley ready for bed.

I bathe him brushed his teeth and got him into pajamas. I laid him down and he fell asleep.

I showered brushed my teeth put on my pajamas and combed my hair. I hugged and kissed Justin goodnight and fell asleep.
