Chapter 20

17 weeks ~

I'm at work right now I just arrived and ran to the bathroom.

It's still morning and I didn't puke this morning yet so I am now. I sighed as the bell rang.

I took a deep breathe and rinsed my mouth out. I took a piece of gum and started chewing.

I walked back to the classroom and put the doorstop in.

No one was here yet so I sat at my desk and got the note books ready to give back.

I stood up and set them on the desks as the students started walking in.

"Good morning." I said

"Sit down and get your homework out." I said

They did as told. I walked to the door and peeked my head in Mrs.Clarks door.

"Sorry to interrupt can I ask you something?" I asked

She nodded and walked up.

"What's wrong are you ok?" She asked

"I'm fine. I feel like crap and might go to the bathroom too puke again so if I run out of my classroom can you come and fill my kids in?" I asked

"Ya to save the trouble how about my class comes in with yours until lunch." She said

"That'll be amazing." I said

She nodded and we walked back into our classrooms.

"Ok uh so part of my pregnancy is I'm
sick every morning so if I run out of the classroom it's probably to go and throw up but Mrs.Clarks class is joining us until lunch today." I said

"So can team captains pick up the homework and put it in the basket please I'll be right back." I said running out of the room.

I ran past the assistant principal and into the bathroom.

I bent over and puked into the toilet. She was with me rubbing my back.

"Would you like to go home today we can get a sub." She said

"No this has been happening for 17 weeks and it's gonna happen for 5 more months." I said

She nodded. I stood up and rinsed my mouth out putting another piece of gum in.

"You good?" She asked

"Ya thanks." I said

I walked out and back into my classroom.

"Sorry guys um my class get out your books from home and start reading while I figure out were Mrs.Clarks class can sit." I said

I walked over to her class and looked around.

"You still teach pre k right?" I asked

She nodded.

"Ok there's like 10 of you so 2 at each table." I said

"Ok if you see an empty seat then 2 at each table and go." She said

They went for the quest.

20 weeks ~

Today is parent teacher conference day and Justin is taking Amber to hers while I do mine.

Carrie and her family walked in. I placed a hand on my stomach and smiled.

"Hi I'm Mrs.Bieber I'm Carrie's teacher." I said

"Hi I'm Hillary and this is my ex husband James I'm her mom and this is her dad." She said

"Great. Carrie go ahead and draw on the board." I said

She nodded.

"Please sit at the circle desk." I said

Her parents nodded. I grabbed the folder for tonight for Carrie. I sat at the circle part.

"Ok so this is her reading grade. It's a 'D' which can be easily moved to an 'A' or 'B' all she needs to do is read for 20 minutes every night and fill out this reading log." I said

"Ok now is this something the other kids have to do?" Her dad asked

"Only those who have a 'D' or lower I don't tolerate D's or F's because I believe in my students." I said

"Ok." He said

"This is her math grade. She's doing 6th grade math it's amazing she's so smart she has a really high 'A' so she needs to keep up the good work here." I said

"You said she's doing 6th grade math but her reading grade is a 'D'." Her mom said

"She can get that grade up me personally I think she deserves a 'C' but with the test scores I'm getting from the computer says otherwise." I said

They nodded.

I finished all my conferences and got ready to leave.

I grabbed all my stuff and walked out of the classroom turning off the light and locking the door.

I saw Justin and Amber in the hall. I smiled Amber saw me.

"Hi baby." I said to her

"Hi mommy." She said

She hugged me and I hugged back. I then kissed Justin's lips.

"Hi." I said

"Hey." He said

"How was the conference?" I asked

"Good she's doing good all A's." Jay said

"That's my girl." I said

She smiled.
