Chapter 45

I woke up this morning at 6.30 a.m. It's Saturday.

I noticed my contractions were starting to come at 20 minutes intervals.

I tried to time them in the morning but they were still too irregular.

They were starting to get stronger though and there's a few where I have to catch my breathe and lean on the kitchen counter.

At 2p.m they started to come at 10 minute intervals. I was ready to go to the hospital.

On the way there the contractions got closer together again.

We got to the hospital. It's now 7.25p.m. 5 minutes later my water broke, I could feel Bentley pushing down to get them to break.

20 minutes later I got the urge to push and thought it was to early but my body surge pushing involuntarily.

Pattie called for a midwife. She walked in.

13 minutes later at 8.07p.m. Bentley Michael Bieber was born! I delivered the placenta 4 minutes later.

I was in labour for 4 hours and 20 minutes.

He was 7lbs 7ozs and 51 cm long.

The doctor handed him to me and I smiled. Justin went to get Pattie and our parents.

They came in one at a time. I looked up and smiled.

"He is so cute." My mom said

"Thank you." I said

"What's his name?" Jazzy asked

"Bentley. Wanna hold him?" I asked

She nodded.

"Sit down to hold him plz Jazzy." Jay said

She nodded. I handed Justin Bentley and he handed Bentley to Jazzy.

"How was it?" Dad asked

"Fine." I said

"How you feeling?" Jeremy asked

"Tired." I said

"I would too." Erin said

"Why don't you take a nap baby we can handle this." Jay said

I nodded and closed my eyes. I fell asleep.
