"I can't eat in front of them.""Why not?" Yoongi looked up at him.
"I have been living in the woods for years, Yoongi. I'm going to eat like my wolf self instead of a normal human being." Namjoon couldn't help to be so stern with his words and voice.
Yoongi gulped. They both were on the top of the staircase, both were staring down at the stairs before they even had the small conversation about Namjoon eating around the boy's parents, in which now he understood why.
The boy sighed and looked down at the stairs, biting his bottom lip. "Okay. Fine—you don't have to go down there." Yoongi faced him, placing his hands on the male's biceps. "I'll make an excuse and bring food up here. Alright?"
"Thank you."
"I can easily tell you're going to thank me a lot." Yoongi moved his hands away, sighing. "I'll be right back. Wait in my room."
Namjoon nodded as he walked to his room and Yoongi walks down the steps. When he got to the kitchen, he saw his parents whispering to each other. He knitted his brows, confused on why they are.
"Um, Umma? Appa?" Yoongi spoke up.
Both of them quickly shut up and turned their head to their son. "Oh, Yoongi. Where's that big friend of yours?" His mother spoke up.
"Yeah..about that." Their son nervously rubbed the back of his neck. "He won't be able to eat with us."
"How come?" His father said, raising a brow.
"As you can tell when you met him..he's very shy and..h-he gets uncomfortable when he eats around others. So yeah."
"Well, Joon needs to get comfortable in a different way. Right honey?" His mother nudged her husband, chuckling.
"Of course." Her husband also chuckled.
"So..is it okay if we eat together another time?"
"That's no problem, dear. We already got his dish ready." His mother picked up two plates and walked over to her son, giving it to him.
"Thank you guys for understanding." Yoongi smiled softly, getting the plates and walking towards the stairs to his room.
"Honey, there's something odd about that Joon friend of his." Yoongi's mother whispered.
