Chapter 10: Her Last Breath

October 22, 2010. The day where Heather crashes severely. A day Tyler, Dante, and Amelia will never forget. Never will forget the day Heather was rushed to the hospital.

October 23, 2010, Heather is now in the hospital. As Doctor Harris take care of Heather, Tyler and Dante goes in to visit.

"Doc... Is mom alright?" Dante asked.

"She is suffering severe injuries around her body. We will have to do surgery. Sad to say, your mom will have a slight chance of a successful surgery." Doctor Harris said.

"Can she speak?" Tyler asked.

"Im sorry sport, she can't. She is paralysed."

As Tyler cries, Dante embraces Tyler.

Few minutes later, Amelia came to visit.

"Is she fine, doc?" Amelia asked.

"She's suffering severe injuries. She is also paralysed. I'm sorry for your friend."

Doctor Harris then leaves them for a moment.

"Do you two wanna live in my house while your mom is here?" Amelia asked.

"Yes." Tyler and Dante said.

"But, we don't wanna go yet. We'd rather stay here for a couple of days." Dante said.

"I understand."

Amelia then leaves, and goes to Eustace.

8:00pm, in the evening, Tyler and Dante are sleeping in the hospital.

As Tyler sleeps, he felt a breeze, and wakes him up. Tyler then checks his surroundings.

Aralith is seen at the corner of room. Beside Heather. Tyler sees Aralith, and disappeared.

"Mom" Tyler cries.

In the morning...

October 24, 2010, Friday morning. Tyler, Dante, Eustace, and Amelia went to the cafeteria.

While they eat, Aunty Beverly came to visit on her sister, Heather.

"Thank you for taking care of my sister, boys." Beverly said.

As they smile, Beverly planned to take the boys to her house, until Heather's recovery.

"Boys. I planned to take you two to my house while Heather is here in the hospital. Let's just hope she's safe from surgery."

"Alright." Tyler and Dante said.

Beverly then joins them for breakfast before leaving.

Around 11am, Beverly drives them to their house to pack their stuffs enough for several days.

*cries*

"What's wrong Tyler?" Dante asked.

"I'm scared." Tyler cries.

"N-No... Don't worry, Tyler. Mom will survive the surgery. No matter what happens, don't give up hope."

*soft snort*

"Come on. Lets go. We'll be fine."

They then hop on the car, and on their way to Beverly's home.
