Chapter 13: KING AND QUEEN

Malaysia's POV

I let Philip go first because i know that i'm gonna take a while, i'm gonna be a book worm just to be in the highest 10. Sigh.

"Here..."

i heard someone talked in front of me someone put a book on the table. i looked at who it is and it was a guy that was smiling at me and a bit taller than me just a bit

"We're already done in that assignment and I've got my answers in that book" he said pointing at the book he put it on the table

i looked at the book and i read the title, it's just the same as my assignment.

"May i hear the magic word?" he said as he sat where Philip was sitting earlier

"T-thank you" i said

"There you go! i thought you don't know how to talk, i was about to teach you!" he jokingly said which i laughed

i feel like he always tell jokes, a bit corny but jolly

"Ryker."

he said

"Malaysia"

i said  not even bothering to shake his hand, i then put my attention to the book he gave me

i heard him lowly laughed, I am not really a friendly person, i'm already fine with my friends, I usually ignore people getting near on me

"Page 256" he said

i flipped the page to 256 and started  reading the content i then smiled when i saw the answer to the questions

i took the book and started writing the answers

"Malaysia, such a beautiful name" i heard him say

i then stopped at the moment and continue what i was doing

a few minutes later i was finally done in the assignment while Ryker was still sitting in front of me i didn't look at him that's why i don't know if he's sleeping, reading, or just looking at me

"Are you done?" he asked

i then realized that he might be waiting for his book i then gave him his book very embarrassed

"Thanks" i said as i looked at him, and i was right he was just looking at me with a smile on his face

what's his problem? did he got hit in the head or something?

"Nah, you can borrow it since we're already done with that book" he said as he gived back the book to me

i was about to deny it but i didn't want to make this conversation longer so i just accepted it and began to take my things as i stood up

i looked at him confused when he stood up too, his still in his usual smile, why is he smiling is he making fun of me?

i tried to keep my mouth shut and walked towards the door but then he went first and open the door for me

I don't need a guard, I don't need an assistant , I don't want him around and i don't know why

"Do still have classes?" he asked

"Yeah.. later" i said, i was just stopping myself to say something bad, since he let me borrow his book but i hate the fact that he's acting that we're very close

I only know his name, i don't know his entire self. In short, we are totally strangers

"oh...then why are you rushing? Do you want to eat? my treat"
