Chapter Twenty Five

I made myself busy in cooking. I was all alone here in my casita, watching youtube since yesterday and up to now, trying to copy the dish I want to make for Tyler. I didn't know that his birthday will be so much special to the point that I had to cook for him as my present. I know naman kasi na madami na rin siya ng mga material na bagay. Kahit bumili pa ako, kaya niya ding bilhin. But on the other hand, wala namang mall dito, so it's better to cook for him. Siguro naman maa-appreciate niya, 'wag lang mag-fail.

Mommy thought me how to cook, but not that expert. I may know some dish pero hindi pa din perfect ang lasa. However, I'm always trying to make every dish to be perfect. Not for myself, but for the people who'll taste it. Ayoko namang masugod sila sa hospital, caused my my food.

Today is December 31, and later na ang salubong sa bagong taon. We will be celebrating New Year like Christmas kung saan lahat ng guest dito sa resort ay andoon. Kinakabahan ako dahil hindi ko pa rin sure kung masarap na ba ang niluto ko sakanya. I made sisig, and stuffed chicken breast with mozzarella and spinach. I think that will be enough for him, as a New Year and Birthday present.

I heard the knocks on my door kaya agad kong nilagay ang final touch sa stuffed chicken at inilagay kasama ang sisig sa lamesa. I opened the door and smiled at them.

"Sakto! I'm done!"

I called both Xia and Chescka to help me taste my dish. Para naman malaman ko kung pasok ba sa panlasa nila yung niluto ko at hindi ako mapahiya kay Tyler.

"Masyado mong nilagyan ng A." Sambit ni Xia habang tinitingnan ang niluto ko na nasa lamesa. Pinipicturan pa 'yon ni Chescka. Pareho silang umupo at nagsalin ng juice sa baso. I also sat in front of them and both gave them a pork and spoon.

"A?" tanong ko kay Xia.

"Ano? Okay ba lasa? Hindi masama? Hindi naman failed? What?" Sunod-sunod na tanong ko sa dalawa na nakatitig lang sa'kin kaya mas lalo akong kinabahan.

Nakatunganga ako sakanila habang sunod-sunod na sumubo ulit. "SB, penge rice! Ang sarap 'te!" Halos nagmadali naman akong kinuha ang rice cooker at nilapag sa lamesa.

"Seryoso nga?" Tanong ko. Chescka smiled at me. "It's good!"

I didn't failed so, I must do it again the same taste as my present to Tyler.

After eating, we just watched one movie and decided to swim. Baka kasi ito na din yung last namin here, as we talked about that earlier. Hindi din daw kasi sure nina Xia na magtatagal pa sila. Besides, New Year, I think new life?

I wore a white bikini and covered it with a fishnet dress. I also wore a straw hat and put tints on my cheeks and lip. The sun is hot, so I think we need too.

Xia was wearing a white top and maong short while Chescka wores a mint green two-piece with a sarong cover up. They both pretty!

"I saw LGD," panimula ni Chescka nang makalapit ako sa kanila. My smile faded as I heard her. I was about to reply when a person shouts my name. It's Tyler. He runs over here with his hand holding a camera. I think my cheeks blushed when I smell his scent when he came near. He smiled at me. He's wearing a black t-shirt, maong short, and just his slippers. But hey! His appeal was good! I really don't know why I always saw his substances that can make every girl drool over him, I think even me....

Naalala ko tuloy yung nangyari kahapon. He even called me baby! I was shocked that time and unable to talk when I heard him asked me that line in front of Harry. I wasn't able to reply at him that's why he talked with Harry, and Harry apologized. Harry thinks that Tyler is my boyfriend! Napatungo tuloy ako nang maalala ko.
