What do I do?! I'm too late, I can't escape. Cal, and Maven just stare at me. "Why do you guys keep starring at me?" I ask. "I never got to see your eye change color, that night." Cal said. I mean he isn't wrong, my eyes look pretty weird. "Oh ok." I said. I look down and see I have a towel draped over me. I grab it, and stand up. I start to loose my balance, and put my hand on the shower door. "I'll be right back." I say. They just nod. I go into the closet, and put on my undergarments. Then I put on Black leggings, and a Maroon long sleeve crop top. Then I put on black ankle combat boots.I walk out and go to the mirror. I put my hair up in a high ponytail. I walk back to the brothers, who are still crouching, but having a conversation. I stop in my tracks, and slip behind the door. "I do know if this plan is going to work, I mean she seems fine." Cal says. What are they talking about. "I know, but you don't understand, she is literally a girl version of my brainwashed self. Like I know Mare, and she would never kill someone for her own benefit." Ohh crap. What do I do. I slowly slip around the door, and silently walk over to the mirror. I need to act like nothing happened.

"I'm ready, now what.?" I say walking in. Cal's eyes linger on the crop top. "We will go get you something to eat." Maven said, and walks over to me. "Great I'm starving." I say. We walk out the door, and Cal is following behind us. Maven looks at his brother, and out of the coroner of my eye I see Cal nod. "So Mare, I was wondering on where you went those past few days?" Maven looks at me. "I just needed sometime alone, so I went to a cabin." I say. Part of a lie. "Ohh really, where was Amelia, at that time?" Maven asks, but with more authority in his voice. "I don't know, I left early." I shrug. Cal raises his eyebrow. "What did you do at the cabin?" Cal asks. My forehead has a light coat of sweat. What if they find out. Just breath Mare you got this. "Well, I slept a lot, I took walks and runs in the woods, and crying." Maven has a hurt look in his eye, but Cal isn't buying it. He walks up to me, and grabs my arm. He turns me so I look at him. He puts his hand under my chin, and narrows his eyes at me. I close my eyes, terrified that I might get caught. "Can you take us to the Cabin?" Cal says. "Not really, it's my family's cabin and we like to keep it hidden." I say. I start to tear up, because I know I will get caught. Cal sees me start to cry, and he pulls me to his chest, and hugs me. I just start crying. He puts his chin on the top of my head. Then, all of a sudden, I'm thrown over his shoulder. "Not this again." I say. He just laughs. Maven, laughs with him. "It's not funny." I mumble. They walk through many hallways, before I realize where they are taking me. I'm going to be locked away in a cell. No no no, what do I do?! I squirm out of Cal's arms, and fall to the ground. "I'm not going back there, I can't please." I say. I back away from them. "It's just for questions, we aren't going to lock you in there." Maven says. I shake my head. I feel manacles on my wrists, and the silent stone draining life from me. I look at Maven, and see crown on his head. Then, I see that awful smirk.

I back away further, before running for it. They follow me, but I'm faster than them. I call for my lightning, and I see sparks dance up and down my arms, and hands. I send a bolt their way just to slow them down. I see that their hands are on fire. Oh great Mare, lets get more burned. I scold myself. I race down the halls. Through the dinning room, where everyone is eating dinner. Farley sees what's going on and starts to chase me too. So does Camron. Great now the have Camron! I shake my head. I make it out to the front of the castle. I sprint faster, almost to the woods. Then, I hear a gun shot, and then the pain comes. The bullet goes all the through my left arm. Blood is already staining my sleeve. I sent another lightning bolt their way. I see Camron sprinting closer. I go even faster. I try to stay out of her range. I make it to the wood line. I find a trail and run down it. Cal, and Maven are useless, unless they want to start a Wild fire. I feel sharp rocks, then I trip on one. I hit face first. My left cheek is cut, and my lip. I spit out a couple teeth on the path. I turn around and see Farley, and Camron getting closer. I scramble to get up. I start running again. I run get to a dead part of the forest. All the trees have no leave, and all the grass is grey. It's completely dead. I see the end of the forest. I keep running, I feel a bullet go through my right thigh. I hiss in pain. The bullet is still in my thigh. This slows me down. I make it to the end of the forest and see a field. Camron got in reach with me, and then I feel week. It's hard to breath, like a bolder is on my chest. I see Maven, and Cal run up to me. I put my fists up ready to fight. Maven comes first, I connect my fist to his cheek. He spits silver blood on the hay. I punch him again, but on the nose. He curses. I'm pretty sure I broke his nose. Then I hear Cal trying to creep up on me. I turn instantly, and grab his hands. I look at him, and connect my lips to his. This is the perfect distraction. I kick the side of his knee, dislocating his knee cap. He howls in pain, and falls not being able to stand. I look towards the field and run. But I don't make it far. Farley finished the job, and shot my other arm and leg. I turn, and glare at her. She glares back. I'm just out of range for Camron. I send a bolt at Camron. It's just enough to shock her. Then, at Farley. Same voltage, as the one I sent towards Camron. Then I start to run again. I feel a hot substance hit my back. I fall to the ground.

I try to get up, but fail. The pain is unbearable. I'm going to kill whoever threw that fire ball at me. I look at my back, the bottom half of my back is burned, and blistered. It's hard to tell how bad it is. But probably a 3rd degree burn. I see Maven walk to me. I force myself up. I turn at look at him. He's been crying. "What happened to you Mare?" He cry's. "Why don't you ask Amelia, oh wait never mind you can't, she's dead." I smirk. "Son of a bitch." Maven mumbles. "What's that 2nd best?" I laugh. Something changes in his face. His hands comes ablaze. "Ooo I'm SOO scared, Come save me Cal." I know which buttons to push. "You will regret that." Maven growls. I call for my lightning. "We'll see." I reply. He sends a fireball my way. Most of the flame is turned into sparks. The other part hits my left arm. I send a bolt his way. I hits him square on his chest. He falls to a knee. "Goodbye Maven." I say. Right before I I sent a bolt to Maven. I hear a familiar voice. "MARE WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING." I stop. No it can't be, "Shade?!"
