It had been a couple days since the Cat sith incident and everything was relatively calm.
Well calm if you ignoring the fact that I could now see glowing people.
It seemed like either that cat produced a very strong hallucinogen or I was going insane. I was inclined to hope for the latter.
Yerim who was currently scribbling down notes was radiating a mellow grey and it was a little unsettling.
I was starting to wonder if they all had gone on a glow worm diet.
"Seoyeon you seem a bit distracted," Yerim whispered, eyeing the rambling teacher at the front.
"I just haven't been sleeping that great," I muttered, which wasn't a total lie. I'd been mulling over whatever could've caused people to start glowing and how to avoid having questions asked about the strange tattoo on my arm.
Thankfully no one had seen it so far and I had managed not to start screaming about having cat poisoning.
"Well Joohyun, Suho and I were planning to check out the Garden of Purgatory after school if you are interested," Yerim asked quietly.
"No offence but purgatory doesn't exactly sound like a fun time."
Her mouth formed a silent 'o' and a small giggle escaped her. "It's not literal purgatory, it's just called that." She pulled out her own dellphone from under the desk and gestured to a picture of a wide pond surrounded by pink flora.
"I'll come then," I replied. The garden seemed harmless enough and it'd be nice to get out of the house for a little bit. I pulled out my phone to make sure Taehyung wouldn't come looking for me.
Seoyeon: I'm going to the Garden of Purgatory after school with the angels so don't wait up.
Taehole: Why
Seoyeon: Because?
Taehole: You really shouldn't go by yourself. I'd come but I have other things to do...
Seoyeon: It's fine I'm not going by myself.
Taehole: I'll get Hoseok to come with you he owes me a favour after I owed him a favour-
Seoyeon: I'm really fine, I'll be with Yerim and the others.
Taehole: Nope hoesuccs going with you end of story. Bye Bye.
I let out a barely audible sigh. Taehyung had been weird ever since the stamp incident. He was still an ass but on the lowkey compared to before. It was a strange change of pace but welcome nonetheless.
I wasn't exactly sure why he was so dead set on having Hoseok come with us though.
"And that brings our class for today to an end. Make sure to do your homework," the professor finished.
I looked up from my device glad that the school day had come to a wrap.
"Let's go!" Yerim cheered, pulling me out of my seat and towards Joohyun and Suho.
"Will you be joining us today?" Joohyun questioned, a kind smile on her face. I nodded in response, flashing her a smile of my own.
"And who may that be?" She asked, gesturing to the pink blob that was now peering over the edge of my bag.
"Oh that's Sushi," I muttered, using my finger to rub his head.
"Why haven't I seen him before!" Yerim pouted, eyes wide as she examined the amphibian.
