"You need my help?" I repeated.

He nodded. "I need you to get Taehyung to give me my limited edition STB CD back before the tournament next week."

"Your what?"

He flashed me an incredulous look. "Y'know STB, the greatest rpg of all time."

"Umm no?"

His green eyes narrowed. "What have you played?"

"Pacman?"

He let out a sigh. "Another noob huh? Whatever, just help me get my CD back."

"Why wouldn't you just get it yourself?"

"I would, but even if Taehyung acts like a fool, he's still stronger than me. I need you to distract him so I can go into his room and snatch it."

I raised a brow. "Just ask one of your other brothers to do it."

"They wouldn't help me, Taehyung might not seem like the violent type but when someone takes something out of his room," he paused with a shudder. "It doesn't end well."

"The only one of us that could overpower him is Seokjin and he's too prideful to get involved with what he deems useless squabbles."

I sighed. "So basically you want me to distract Taehyung while you go get your CD. Hope that everything works out well and no one gets murdered."

He nodded. "Pretty much."

"Even if I were to agree, how are you going to get into his room?"

"Well my natural magics affinity is shape shifting so I'll just turn into a snake and be in and out."

"What?"

"Y'know natural magic?" he sighed, seeing the confused look on my face. "Every living creature is born with natural magic. Your capacity to use it depends on your species and luck. Once you start using magic you tend to be better at one specific kind and mine is shapeshifting."

Ah my brain short circuited again. But if everyone had magic does that mean...

"Can I use magic too?"

He let out an obnoxious laugh and I shot him an unimpressed look.

"Your magic capabilities as a mundane are so limited that the most you would be able to do is use a contract."

I rolled my eyes. "Ok, you didn't have to laugh. I'm feeling pretty unmotivated to help you right now. I think I'd rather live to see another day."

"Well I'll give you some money, it'll probably come in handy since it isn't too favorable to depend on others for everything."

My eyes lit up. "Money? How much."

He stifled a snort. "You looked like Taehyung for a minute. I'll give you 500 silver coins and 60 gold."

"In English please?" I requested.

"Hmm I believe the silver coins are worth 1,000 won and the gold 10,000. I'll even throw in a copper coin worth 10 won if you do a good job."

Using quick maths I determined that it would be the most money I had ever been in possession of.

I stuck out my hand. "Deal."

He looked at my outstretched hand in confusion.

"You've never done a handshake before."

"A what?" he asked.

"Just shake my hand. We've got to seal the deal."

I watched him mutter something under his breath which looked a lot like 'for STB.' He then proceeded to awkwardly shake my hand.

"So have fun finding Taehyung's credit card."

I pulled my hand away, forehead creased in confusion. "I don't recall a credit card being mentioned."

"Well Taehyung placed a spell on his door, which basically doesn't let anyone enter if the door is locked. So you're going to find the credit card Seokjin confiscated from him to distract him and then," he paused pulling a weird looking blob out of his pocket. "Fred will keep the door open."

"Who?"

He pointed at the blob with eyes resting on his hand. "Fred is my most dependable warrior; he comes from a long line of special Axolotl that can live on the land. He will keep the door open for me."

He placed Fred on my shoulder and I almost threw him off right then and there.

"Freddie will help you out, meet me at my room in about 3 hours with the credit card. I'd start by asking Seokjin about it."

"Hey-" before I could say another word he was already running off screaming he was going to be late for the pvp match.

I groaned, rubbing my temple in irritation. I did not sign up for finding his credit card nor having a beady eyed, pink glob as my temporary companion.

The only thought crossing my mind as I went to look for Seokjin was yolo.

After peering through whatever unlocked door I could find, I had finally stumbled across what appeared to be Seokjin's office.

I could feel myself growing nervous and I lightly knocked on the door.

He looked up from the papers on his desk. "Seoyeon? What do you need?"

I paused, realizing I did not think this through. "Umm if I was to confiscate someone's credit card where would I put it."

His forehead creased in confusion before a small smirk formed on his face.

I inwardly shuddered and I could feel Fred's unnerving gaze was now placed on Seokjin.

"Well, if someone were spending all of the Institutes funds, I think I might just freeze their card. Now off you go I have a few more papers to sign for Minhyuk and I don't need Jungkook's pet staring me down."

I sent him a sheepish smile, muttering a small sorry. I quickly closed the door behind me letting out a sigh of relief.

Attempting to subtly get information out of Seokjin was obviously a failure and the use of the word freeze had me lost in thought.

"What are you thinking about so hard, hmm?"

I looked up in surprise to see Jimin in front of me, his lips curved up into a sly smile.

"If you were to try and find someone's frozen credit card where do you think it would be?"

He let out a chuckle. "Did Jungkook rope you into helping him with his plot to get his video game back."

I flashed him an embarrassed smile. "I wasn't very inconspicuous was I?"

He shook his head. "Not at all, have you asked Seokjin yet?"

"Yup all he told me was that it's frozen."

Jimin pondered for a moment, tapping the sole of his polished shoe against the floor. "Well usually when Seokjin says something he means it quite literally, so I'd try and think about it from that perspective."

"Well if he literally froze it do you think he might have put it in the freezer?"

"It's worth a shot," he said with a smile. "Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to be late for my date."

"Is that why you're all dressed up?" I asked, gesturing to his rather grand suit.

He ran his hand across the yellow fabric. "This old thing? I wouldn't really call it dressing up." He shot me a wink. "Let's just say I go on a lot of dates."

I could feel myself flush in embarrassment when I realized the implication of his words.

He let out a pleasant chuckle, before going on his way.

I groaned, time to find the kitchen.
