Chapter 1 - We Found Love

It’s today, your 3 best mates Josh, Jaymi and JJ are going to audition for The X Factor. And you are going with them.

  As soon as you get to their apartment they are already in the car, ready to go. Josh’s girlfriend Ria is going as well, you and Ria have known each other since primary school, and when you became friends with Josh, you quickly introduced him to Ria.

  You give them all a quick hug, and then we’re off. There is a bit of nervous tension in the car, you and Chelsea try and break it by singing the theme tune to The X Factor, and saying ‘Triple J’ in a Peter Dickson voice. It put a smile on their faces, but they were clearly nervous.

  We get to the O2 arena, and see a massive queue of people standing outside, without saying anything we all get out of the car and get in line. After two hours of waiting, we are finally let into the waiting lounge, we sit down on some beanbags on the floor. You sit down next to JJ, he gives you a huge smile, which he normally doesn’t do. Josh and Ria are in another beanbag, with Josh’s arms are wrapped firmly around her.

  3 hours go by, and finally the boys number get called, you give them all a good luck hug. Your hug with JJ is longer than expected, but you don’t mind, because you’ve always kinda liked him. You could feel his heart beating really fast, you had never seen him this way. While he walks away he keeps holding your hand as long as he can.

  You and Ria walk to the ‘family and friends’ area, and wait for the boys to audition. They finally come on stage, they sing the song ‘We Found Love’ by Rihanna. And they sing it perfectly, 4 yes’s from the judges!! You and Ria start screaming, and jumping up and down, and then the boys come storming out, JJ runs straight to you and lifts you up while hugging you.

We head out to the car again, and on the way home we are singing ‘We Found Love’ at the top of our lungs. The boys decide to have a little party later for friends and family to celebrate.

Later on:

About 20 people come to the party, everyone is asking questions about the audition, you just stick to Ria most of the time. Since you practically live in this apartment you decide to fill up the snacks. You walk out to the kitchen and find JJ out there. “Good job today JJ” you say. “Thanks Elise” you start pouring up snacks into a bowl, when you find JJ standing right behind you, with his arms on each side of you, leaning against the table. You turn around, looking straight into his eyes, those big beautiful brown eyes that you’ve liked ever since you met him. He puts his hands on your waist and says “Elise? Do you want to go on a date with me?” at first you didn’t believe him, JJ had been your best friend for 3 years, and now he’s asking me out? “Yes, I’d love to” you say, while wrapping your arms around his waist.
