It was a bright sunny day in Karakura town. It's been 12 years since the winter war and it's been 10 years since the thousand blood war.

In a small house were two people living within. The first person was an old lady. She was in her late 60's. She has grey short curly hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a black flower top and light blue jeans. She was in the kitchen cooking breakfast for her and the second person. The second was a child. He was 12. He has short straight silver hair with bits sticking out. His usual baby blue eyes that were always open, were now close. He was lying in bed, sleeping.

The boy woke up when bits of sunlight, coming from his slightly open curtains, hit his face. The boy groaned and sat up. He yawned and scratched his nape. There on the left side of his neck was a fox face tattoo. The tattoo was there ever since he was 5. He never knew how he got it. First thing he was walking home from his walk, next minute he knew he was attacked by a hollow and felt a sharp feeling in his neck and collapsed.

The boy got out of bed and got dressed. He put on his red button up short sleeved shirt, black shorts, a black and white hoodie with the Kanji number of 3 on the back (The picture up top is that hoodie), and white socks.

The boy went out of his bedroom and went downstairs with his hands in his hoodie pockets.

"Granny?" called the boy.

"I'm in the kitchen, Hiro," said Granny. Hiro nodded and walked into the kitchen.

"I'm going for a walk again, I'll be back later on tonight," said Hiro. Granny nodded and gave Hiro an egg sandwich since she knew he was going out right after he woke up. That was his routine. Wake up, get dressed, eat breakfast, grab some things, go out, be back around 7:30 PM, relax with Granny and play some games, have dinner, go for a shower, watch a movie with Granny, go to bed, and repeat.

Hiro quickly ate his breakfast and grabbed some things. Mainly his phone, earplugs and wallet. He left the house and went to Urahara shop. He walked into the shop and spotted the shady man.

"Urahara," said Hiro. Kisuke looked up from his clipboard, which had some shop business stuff on it, and smiled big.

"Ah Hiro-kun! Come for more training?" Kisuke said happily. Hiro nodded. Just then a tanned woman came though.

"Alright then, let's go downstairs Hiro," smirked the woman.

"Bring it on, Yoruichi-sensei," grinned Hiro. The two Shunpo down to the training grounds and stood there.

"What are we doing first, sensei?" asked Hiro, taking his hands out of his pockets. Yoruichi smirked.

"Well we're going to be doing Hakuda then going onto Zanjutsu," said Yoruichi. Hiro nodded and took his hoodie off with his phone, earplugs and wallet. He walked over to the middle and got into position.

The two stared at each other before they disappeared. They then reappeared in front of each other, glaring at each other. Hiro's hand caught Yoruichi's right leg whereas Yoruichi caught Hiro's right fist. The two didn't move until a few seconds later. Hiro either dodged, counter Yoruichi's moves or attacked.

After a few hours of practising hand-to-hand combat, they moved to swords....... Wooden swords. First before they moved onto swords, they took a small break.

"Ya know it's kinda stupid," said Hiro, looking at the wooden sword in his hand.

"What's stupid?" asked Yoruichi, drinking some milk.

"You're a Shinigami. I'm a Shinigami. We both have Zanpakutos," said Hiro.

"Yeah, so what?" asked Yoruichi. Hiro's right eye twitched as he jumped onto his feet with the wooden sword still in his hands.

"Then why are we using wooden swords?! I know how to use a sword, so why are we using these toys?!" asked Hiro. Yoruichi grinned lazily.

"Because I can't be asked to use my Zanpakuto," she said. Hiro looked at her in disbelief.

"You know, I wonder how you became a captain of the 13 Gotei before you were exiled," said Hiro. Yoruichi then smirked.

"With my awesome talent, that's how," she said. Hiro sweat-dropped.

"I don't believe you," he sighed. After a few minutes of silence, Hiro got up and grabbed his stuff.

"You're leaving?" asked Kisuke, who walked up to them.

"Yeah, I know it's still morning, coming up to afternoon, but I still want to do some things," said Hiro, putting his hoodie on. Kisuke nodded. Hiro walked to the ladder and began to climb.

"Okay, have fun Hiro-kun!" shouted Kisuke. Hiro stopped climbing and looked at Kisuke. He nodded and carried on climbing and leaving the shop.

"That boy needs a hobby," said Yoruichi.

"Why do you think that?" Kisuke asked, hiding his nose and mouth with his fan but Yoruichi knew he was smirking.

"Because he acts way too much like his father, though Hiro can never be in one place for a long time without getting bored," said Yoruichi.

"Yeah, I guess that's what separates him from his father. Though we do need to train Hiro more now. I feel something big is going to happen soon. Hiro and Kurosaki's son has great potential. I hate thinking that we'll have to put kids through this battle but we might have too. Hiro most likely feels it too, that's probably why he wants to get trained even harder. So he can be ready," Kisuke said, seriously. Yoruichi nodded. After a few minutes of silence, Kisuke looked at Yoruichi with a big grin on his face.

"Do you think our dear Hiro will be a child prodigy like his old man?" smirked Kisuke. Yoruichi laughed.

"He might be. After all, it runs in his veins," laughed Yoruichi.
