13. when the scene finally unfolds

Previously...

I guess today was a fun day.

"[Y/n] they haven't found any evidence but we can move back in now."

Now...

"We're moving back in? Why?! We just go here!" I yell, questioning my parents about this whole thing. They had frowns wrapped around their faces but tried to explain the situation for my brain to understand. "The police investigated the house but no such evidence was found." Mother told me.

"No, I know that but why now? Can't stay a little bit longer?"

"[Y/n], Mrs. Yugi, as you can see, is a single parent. Are you planning to trouble her?" Dad asks me in an annoyed tone as I still had a bit of strength to fight the whole thing. "No, not at all. She's a good woman she deserves the best." I mutter loud enough for them to here, frowning and looking down.

My mother smiles at me like I was an achievement she didn't have before. "It's okay, [Y/n]. You get to see the twins at school." I sigh, still a little bumped. "I know, it's just I will never get to see them that often."

"We'll try our best. But, for now," dad smiles at me, proudly. "Let's get home. Shall we?" I nodded, a weak, fading smile on my face. "We shall." My parents get into the car as I follow in their tales. But before I do, I turn to the house the Yugi twins stayed at, smiling and then finally getting into the car.

*Theme of Spirited Away plays in the background*

( Cause, you know, at the beginning of the movie Chihiro/Sen was about to move to her new house )

I stay put as we went through the path we did before. It was a bit long but I tried to recognize the path as we finally arrived at the estate. I gulp my parents, leaving the car as I, again, follow their tails from behind.

I sneeze, realizing this place needs a little up-a-cleaning. "Oh dear," Mother frowns, disappointed from the sight. "I'm guessing we have to clean this place up if we want to feel at home." I nod as I grab a broom and a dustpan nearby the doorway. "So, what are we waiting for?" I closed my eyes, smiling at my parents who seemed to be proud.

We cleaned up for the rest of the day, a little tired from the movement our bodies made. I was upstairs when I came across the room the babysitter laid at. I furrowed my eyebrows as I head to the bathroom, taking one, long shower.

As long as I felt clean. I laid on my comfortable bed, once more. I think about the things that happened today and the days before. I sigh to myself, thinking of how a complicated life I lived on. But what if... what it... we... my friends and I... solve the case...

I thought of that thought for a minute or two... "Should we, though? Will we get in trouble? Would we get judged?" I bit my lower lip in worry and pleaded that my plan would work. "I hope so... I wouldn't know what I'm gonna do without them." I smile and slept peacefully...

"Sweet dreams."

Said the person, watching over [Y/n] as she slept, once more, like a baby.

A/n: Usually no one checks the Authors note bellow but I'm gonna say it anway, I usually plan writing the story more than actually doing the fanfiction. Meaning, this story is focusing on Mystery than romance.

So... yeah... there's still chemistry between you but not now since [Y/n]'s having a bad time. Besides that, I'm hoping y'all are okay with that cause I'm unsure if you'll like it or not. I'm probably gonna lose a bunch of readers but I'm not writing this for fame, anyway. So... if you don't like the idea... you are free to leave.
