Chapter 8

We went to the cafeteria to eat breakfast as always. I sit beside others and started to eat. I feel somebody is staring at me, I looked up. Bokuto and Kuroo smiling at me since this morning. That was an embarrassing morning, my face gets a little red when thinking of it. (y/n) sleepy voice is cute back then.

"Hey, Akaashi. Do you like (y/n)?" Kuroo ask.

"I like her as a friend."

"Are you sure not more than friends?"

"Yeah"

"Then you don't mind if I dating her right?" his question somehow irritates me. I look at Bokuto but he just smiling. What's wrong with this two?

"Why are you asking me? You should ask Bokuto-san because she is his sister."

"I just asking. So you don't care about it right?" I just hummed. Feel heavy on my chest. I take a glance searching for (y/n), she's eating her food with Hinata. Smiling and laughing with Hinata's jokes.

[3rd person POV]

Through this day, (y/n) always talked to Hinata.

" (y/n)-san, y-you're cute. I-I like you!"

He shattered confessing his feelings. But it seems like (y/n) don't take it seriously.

"Oh, Hinata. I like you too."

she pat his fluffy hair and gives him a smile. He knows that she didn't think its a confession. He sigh but just continue her conversation with others.

The practice went as usual but (y/n) rarely talked to Akaashi. Maybe she's too shy to talk to him after what happened to them this morning? Plus with the realisation of her feelings toward that pretty setter?

That evening, its raining cats and dogs making the roof leaking so they had to cancel the practice that day and wait until the rain go away. They disconnected from their coach from the cafeteria. Some of them got separated leaving some of Karasuno (just Hinata and Tsukishima -3rdgym gang), Fukurodani team and somehow Kuroo, the only cat, with them.

"Hey! Let's play something to kill some time!" Bokuto yells at the others. They agreed to play 'King'.They sit in a circle in the middle of the gym. (y/n) and Akaashi sit kind of far from each other.

'Is they still that embarrassed?' Bokuto thought. (y/n) just don't know about her feelings toward Akaashi and Akaashi don't know how to make a move to talk to her after this morning incident.

Everyone choose a folded paper. Who got 'King', he/she needs to command others to do something using their given numbers.

They tear some paper and wrote 'king' and numbers. They put in a small box and shake it. They pick the paper and must not reveal their numbers.

Actually, this is one of their 'plans' to get the 'not-realised-yet' couple get closer together. Yukie and Kaori task is to take a peak on (y/n)'s paper while Bokuto and Kuroo on Akaashi. And they gonna make them do something necessary even unnecessary things will do.

"Anything but all lovey dovey thing please! That very displeasing and disgusting," you said. Bokuto and Kuroo shining eyes started to dull.

First, its Konoha got the 'King'. He also part of the plan. No. Actually all of Fukurodani team is part of their plan. They also want to see another face expression from Akaashi else than silent and 'bleh' face. By the way back to the games,

"Now I want number 7 carry number 3!" he just blurted out the numbers without remembering the plan.

Turned out to be Yukie as number 7 and Bokuto as number 3. She just lift Bokuto hands because, lifting his whole body would be impossible for a girl.
