Xiao Dejun had always disliked Son Yumi. So when the said girl came inside the classroom on the first day of second year college, Xiaojun's mouth had hung agape and his brows were knitted together in scowl. Yumi cheerfully went inside the classroom and greeted almost everyone, even him. Although he did reply with a mere nod. The action wasn't even obvious at all that it would seem that he just had ignored her.
Still with a smile on her face, Yumi hopped her way to her friends that had saved her a seat on the third row, and Xiaojun heaved an exasperating sigh.
Another semester. It was another semester he had to survive with her.
You could say that Yumi was a very bright and joyful person. She has a naturally loud voice and high pitch laughter. And perhaps, that was two things Xiaojun had grown to dislike about her.
For the past year, during the first semester, Yumi was really quiet and barely conversed with anyone, obviously shy to the new environment. However, as weeks and months rolled by, Yumi had gained friends and confidence. She had become an active student. Her innocent but witty remarks had made the class love her as if she was the purest person and must be treated with care. Her classmates loved how they saw her come out of her shell.
However, unlike most of the class, Xiaojun had just found her annoying. He thought that Yumi was doing it on purpose, the bubbly innocent act.
And now that they share a few subjects again, he just hoped that they wouldn't cross paths with each other a lot of times and that they would just be classmates who knew each other's names and nothing more.
