The officers of voix organization had a meeting. This time all 5 of them were able to gather, including the information officer, Doyoung,  who couldn't come last time because of a clash in his schedule. On the tv screen of the room played the performances of the students who auditioned last week and they expressed their thoughts and insights on each one, vocally.

It went on until the screen played Yumi's video. Same with the other students who had two votes each for yes or no, Doyoung's vote would be the final decision.

The information officer watched it attentively, and at some parts, he even bobbed his head. Once it finished, the other four had their attention on him waiting for his decision. However, before he could even express his opinion, he locked eyes with Xiaojun who had an expressionless face, however, his eyes were quite intense. He walked on eggshells. "She was pretty good if I may be honest, but I don't think she's ready to be a part of our org yet. Maybe in the next semester she'd be better. Let's just recommend for her to practice more, yeah?"

Xiaojun smiles to himself and was the first one to agree with Doyoung, not until he heard the words "next semester" which made him widen his eyes and halted him from celebrating deep inside. He scoffed and furrowed his brows.

"What do you mean next semester?" Xiaojun asked sharply, pushing back his hair in frustration.

Doyoung released a breath. "She has potential and it would be a shame if we wouldn't add her to the team." The rest nodded their heads in agreement. "Plus, her vocals were pretty stable when she danced on some parts. And have you seen her eyes when she performed? That's the energy we need in our team. It was pretty powerful and captivating. I couldn't really look away." Doyoung admitted as he pointed out what he liked about her performance.

Xiaojun pursed his lips and looked at each of them. "Fine. If she does audition next semester, we'll take her in." He finally agreed, emphasizing the word "does" by air quoting with the use of his fingers. And once he was done speaking, he leaned back on his chair and crossed his arms, not focusing on the rest of the meeting.

Once the meeting was over, Xiaojun picked up his bag and made his way out of the building. It was a pretty windy afternoon. The breeze tousled Xiaojun's hair in various directions but he was unbothered as he kept his hands hidden in the pocket of his brown leather jacket. His lips whistled a certain rhythm and his steps were slow yet wide as he took his time walking to the library where his group mates had decided to meet up for the project.

Upon nearing the building where the library is located, Xiaojun jogged up the stairs and opened the glass doors. His eyes scanned the place to may be spot a group mate however he spotted a few unknown students instead.

Walking around the library to check the other tables, his eyes met a familiar figure who sat by the window. There he saw none other than Son Yumi. Her side profile was illuminated by the afternoon rays of the sun, though she didn't mind as she kept browsing through the book laid in front of her on the desk.

At that moment, Xiaojun stood frozen in his spot. He didn't know what to do. He didn't know if it was better to turn his heel and act like he didn't see her and wait for others by the glass doors or walk up to her and take a seat.

As the young college student was about to take a step back and turn to his heel, Yumi lifted her head up and met his eyes. And upon a second, the girl had given him the smile that she has always given to everyone and had motioned for him to come over.

Xiaojun though was a quick thinker. Instead, he acted as though he felt his phone vibrated on the pocket of his jeans and fished it out to check. He widened his eyes as if he read a shocking message before squinting them. He looked back up to meet Yumi and held his hand up to signal wait. He raised his phone before he motioned his hand using his thumb to point to his back. In response, Yumi had given a small smile and nod that she had understood. With that, the boy turned around and walked away from there and towards the glass doors.

He was really set on waiting for another groupmate standing by the door than waiting and sitting near Yumi.
