I wish if the night could last so long,
So long as my eyes could sleep and wake,
So long as my yawns could turn to breaths,
And my search for the moon could ever end.

But oh, it's again a wish and only a wish,
That would never be made,
That the stars would light the sky and go,
'Cause yes, the sun has to come again.

It's beautiful, this world,
This universe and this earth in which we live,
What could compare it's inscribed greatness,
But still, oh, still , my mind wants the night to stay for long.

As humans we are so selfish,
We ask for everything and give nothing in return,
We thank the nature for its gifts,
And still keep wanting from it ever and ever again.

My gratitude for mother nature,
For this life that I live,
The morning that I see, and the evening that I leave,
The night that I sleep, and the air that I breathe,
But sometimes I feel,
It's all so undeserving for me,
So I pray for the darkness to lay on,
And my soul could disappear somewhere,
Before the dawn comes along.
