As Simon's students settled down ready for the lesson to start, a student entered. Simon saw him and stood up. "Right everyone, before we start the lesson I want to let you all know that this here is Patrick and he's new here. He will be joining this course so I would appreciate it if you could all be nice and welcoming to him" Simon revealed.

A few of the students greeted him from their seats. "Take your seat Patrick. Today we'll be continuing from yesterdays lesson, Ally could you tell Patrick what to do?" Simon asked as Patrick sat near Ally.

"Yeah okay" Ally replied. Simon sat back down at his desk as his students began talking and moving around. "Hey uh... Ally?" Patrick asked quietly. "Yeah" Ally smiled. "So uh... What are we doing?" He asked.

"We're putting photos into our work folders and explaining the process of how we took the photos" Ally replied. "Well, that leaves me in a bit of a pickle" Patrick smiled. "Have you got any photos you can edit?" Ally asked. "Yeah I have some, I could edit them and work on my folder later?" Patrick revealed.

Ally smiled and nodded. "Great, oh uh could you show me where the cafeteria is at lunch time? I didn't get time to pack any lunch today" Patrick asked. "Yeah okay" Ally smiled before focusing on her work.

A few hours went by and lunch time arrived. Ally and Patrick left the classroom and walked down the hallway towards the open area of the floor. As they arrived, Ally saw Lexie.

"Are you coming or what?" Lexie asked Ally as she quickly approached her. "Hm?" Ally said in a confused tone. "You said you'd take some photos of my new outfit for me" Lexie told her. "Oh, oh yeah" Ally replied before looking at Patrick.

"I uh have to go, sorry" Ally said. "No worries" Patrick smiled. "If you go down two floors, go through the doors and turn left through the double doors you'll find the cafeteria" Ally told him. "Right, thanks!" Patrick replied before walking away.

Ally then turned to Lexie. "Who's the new guy?" Lexie asked with a smirk on her face. "You just answered your own question" Ally replied, walking towards Lexie's classroom. "Alright clever dick, who is he really?" Lexie said, rolling her eyes and following her.

"He's just a new guy that's joined my class" Ally replied as she entered Lexie's classroom and sat down at Lexie's seat. "Really" Lexie smirked again, not looking at Ally. "Lexie" Ally sighed. "What? I'm not interested in him Als" Lexie protested, looking at Ally.

"Are you sure?" Ally asked in an unconvinced tone. "Yes, I'm not interested. Besides, he's interested in you" Lexie answered, grinning at Ally and sitting on the table. "What?!" Ally exclaimed, her face blushing.

"He's totally got the hot's for you Als" Lexie teased. "No he doesn't! What makes you so sure?!" Ally asked. "I've had relationships with guys before, I know the signs" Lexie pointed out. "And what signs is he showing?" Ally replied.

Lexie didn't reply straight away. "That's because he isn't showing any and has no interest in me" Ally added. "Awh that's bull! So he isn't showing any signs right now, so what? He's talking to you ain't he?" Lexie told Ally.

"So what if he's talking to me? Lex it's normal for a guy and a girl to just talk you know. And in case you forgot, he's new here so he has no one to talk too" Ally stated. Lexie sighed and rolled her eyes. "Okay fair enough but I reckon he could totally be into you Als if you both talk some more" Lexie urged.

"I-I dunno Lex" Ally said softly. "Okay fine, maybe he isn't interested in you right now. But over time he could, why wouldn't he?" Lexie asked. "Well I-I... I'm not pretty" Ally shyly replied, looking down to the floor. "What? What does that have to do with it?" Lexie said.
