21-mayor Cobblepot

The music is blasting in the sirens. The party was hosted by Barbara kean. Victor walked off somewhere awhile ago, saying he had to do something.

"Wanda" Oswald greets

"Mayor Oswald" Wanda teases.

"Please" he smiles.

"I'm sorry about your mother's statue, I'm glad that they are dead, that was very disrespectful" Wanda smiles, patting Oswald on the shoulder. She's only recently found out about it, seeing as she doesn't watch the news.

"It's quite alright. Where victor? Shouldn't he be here with you?" 

"I don't know, I think he needed to do something" Wanda looks around the club trying to spot him.

"How did you know you loved victor?" Wanda's head turns to him.

"I don't really know, love at first sight?" Wanda muses.

"Why, who's the lucky person?" Wanda asks smiling.

"I'm not sure they like me back" he sighs looking down.

"Oz, victor was the first one to make a move, he didn't know if I'd like him in any way and he took his chance, and look where we are now" she smiles rubbing his shoulder.

"I don't know" he signs again.

"Then again he did save my life before we dated" she shrugs her shoulders, Oswald gaze goes to her.

"He...saved you?" He questions, in a way, he did save Ed.

"Ladies...gentlemen" Barbara kean starts a speech on the stage. "Tonight we're here to celebrate the honourable mayor Cobblepot. Our saviour from the monsters, and the captain of our fair city. And now the mayor would like to say a few words" Ed walks up behind the two. Grabbing Oswald and making him look at him.

"Ed, where've you been? I've been looking for you all evening"

"Just tying up lose ends. I just wanted to say...good luck."

"Okay, thank you" he smiles walking off on stage. As the room cheers. Wanda didn't see Ed  turning to look at victor as he nods.

Oswald walks on stage and thanks Barbara.

"Tonight is a celebration, not of my victory, but of gotham's. This is a new day" the room cheers.

Gun shots make the room go quiet and someone drags Wanda out the way and to the side, she look at the person dragging her to see victor.

"I wouldn't celebrate yet mr mayor. Red hoods ain't finished yet"

"Ed what are you doing?" Oswald hells as Ed drags him across the stage.

"Wait!"

"Sorry boss" a familiar voice says from under the red hood.

"Butch!?" Oswald screams.

The room screams as another shot is heard, butch looks at his gun as Ed says 'oops' and laughs.

Victor goes from Wanda side and shoots butch in the leg, he falls to the floor.

"The mayor...the mayor vowed that all of the red hoods would be destroyed. And now we have the real leader caught. Red...handed" Ed says jumping off the stage and making his way to butch and pulls of the red hood.

"I will kill you for this!" Oswald yells 

"After everything I did for you! I gave you a job!"

"I gave you everything!" Butch yells back

"I used to be somebody in this town, then you and that snivelling little son of a..." Oswald slaps him.

"Shut up!" Oswald looks around and makes his way to the stage.

"I am shocked...and grieved...that one of my dearest friends betrayed me. But let it be known that Oswald Cobblepot will prosecute anyone who threatens Gotham!"

"Hear, hear!" Barbara agrees.

"Upsy-daisy" Victor helps butch up.

Streams are head again as Tabitha Galavan comes to the stage with a man infront of her.

"Showtime" butch says nocking the gun out victors hand and throws him across the bar.

"Victor!" Wanda calls rushing towards him.

"Oswald, move" Ed warns as butch goes charging for Ed.

"Best...party...ever" Barbara smirks as Oswald smashes a glass over butch's head making him get off Ed.

"Ed!" Oswald falls pushing butch off him "Ed!" He calls over and over. Laughing when Ed starts cough.

"Victor, are you alright?" Wand asks helping him up.

"As alright as someone can be after been thrown"he jokes, rubbing her shoulder when she doesn't even crack a smile.

"Wand, I'm fine" he rubs her shoulders. He grabs her chin and make her look at him.

"I'm fine" he kisses her.
