Wanda was in the back of the car, playing dolls with her little sister who was practically half asleep.

"Do you think she's going to be okay?" Wanda asks, intruding the silence, hating not talking.

"I hope so, honey" natty comforts her daughter.

"I'm going to let her live with me, I don't trust that carer, Jane"  natty huffs.

"Want me to drive?" 

"You don't have a licence" natty rolls her eyes.

"So?" She drove to her nan's before, it's was alright and she made a friend out of it,

"Wanda" she warns, making Wanda go quiet.

A few hours later wanda's phone dinged, making her pull it out and look at the text.

My killer: hey wand, just got off a job, not to sound cheesy but I miss you and stay safe, and I packed a gun in your bag 

You put a gun in my bag? If my Nan or mum sees it they'll go ballistic. And yes, that does sound really cheesy x

Wanda puts her phone back in her pocket.

"Who was that?" Natty looks through the mirror to look at her oldest child.

"Victor, he put a gun in my bag in case anything happened" natty looks back at the road.

"At least you're know he cares, I never knew if your dad cared. It's good that he shows it" 

Wanda looks at her little sister, Luna will never meet her dad, seeing as she's the aftermath of a one night stand. Wanda didn't know her dad but she got a birthday card for him every one in a while.

"You go to sleep, I'll wake you when we're there"

"Don't you want to sleep?"

"No. I've slept all day" she sighs, looking in the mirror to see Wanda laying back and falling asleep.

"Aw my darling girl!" A voice calls making Wanda open her eyes.

"Jane" she nods over to the woman a little older than her.

"So nice to meet you again" Wanda nods getting out the car.

Wanda notices her mum glaring at Jane and couldn't wipe the smug smile off her face.

"Wanda, can you get Luna for me?" Natty asks walking towards the door of the hospital.

Wanda nods even though she's already turned around and grabs Luna form her car seat, resting her on her hip and walking to the hospital trailing after her mother.

When she got to her nan's hospital room she held her breathe, she had a broken arm, nothing that would be concerning if she was Wanda's age but she's an old woman and this could have been worse.

"Nan?" You could see the tears in her eyes.

"Hello little one" her nan's voice made her feel a little better, knowing she was conscious.

"How's that boyfriend of yours?" She nan gave a cheeky grin while Wanda looks at her mum who was avoiding eye contact.

"He's alright" she nods.

"Shame he didn't come, but I'm moving in with your mum. So I can finally meet him" you could hear the happiness in her voice.

"Girl's been on her phone all day" natty's mum chuckles. Wanda was in the corner of the room, texting victor no doubt.

"I think it's true love" 

"Mum, he's an assassin" natty turns to her mother.

"You act like her dad wasn't a killer" she says only for natty to hush her.

"She doesn't know who her dad is" natty hisses.

"Did you know Galavan's alive again? Trying to kill Jim Gordon" Wanda looks up to her mum and nan.  Who both were really close to each other, as if their keeping a secret.
