Inside Out

Chapter 9:

  Today is Saturday its now morning and I'm still in bed thinking of what to do today I've finished all my homework yesterday, aunt and uncle are not going to be home till Monday due to some work , I've finished my homework since yesterday and I'm not in the mood of watching movies .

I usually watch movies on Sunday since its like the best day to  watch Netflix so I'm here on my bed its  eleven in the morning and I'm still not out of bed and I dont know what to do .

I could call Paige but I remember that she tolled me never to call her in the morning unless she calls since she's either in class or still in bed and she loves her sleep I remember the time I wanted to prank her so while she was sleeping I went to her room and  poured ice on her but I guess she didn't see that as a joke I will never believe you tube videos again they gave the idea and I ended up with a stingy pain in my cheek after she slapped me plus she told my parents and I got more punishment but I didn't care that much seeing her face was the best part it was so funny I continued laughing though she slapped me and then she went back to sleep ,I love that jerk .

As I was lost in my thoughts I heard as if someone was ringing the door bell but who could that be at this time so wore my bunny slippers and glided downstairs towards the door as I opened the door I saw Eve ,she looked kind of weird not having her usual bubbly smile but somehow trying hard to keep a smile on her face and behind it I see an emotion which makes me question her visit is she in  pain it is visible by her hair having nots but she tried to brush it a little and her eyes look kind of red and swollen .Did someone hurt her?.

"Hey Lara I thought u didn't have anyone to be with so I came for a visit can I come in sorry its in short notice I didn't mean to barge in." She said in a voice which could be a whisper if someone wasn't listening to her attentively so I was brought back to earth and said.

"Its okay come in thankyou for visiting." So she came inside then hang her coat up on the coat racket and went to sit on the couch it was visible that something was wrong with her. So I asked.

"Is everything okay ,why are you crying." She looked at me intensely before saying .

"Lara have you ever thought that you have everything then in a second you realize its all a lie." I dont know what to say ,its not that I dont know things but what she's talking about gives me a minute to think about her words so I answered.

"Actually I think I have." I said while taking a seat next to her and giving her a tight hug I think she needs it right now. "What's wrong you can tell me I won't tell anyone I extra super duper pinky promise." I said trying to lift up her mood and it worked she smiled a bit then she said.

"Nothing much happened than I leaving yesterday, early so that i could go to another town to meet my boyfriend  which takes five hours to go to his town but go to his apartment and find him in bed with another woman ." she said while crying badly I fell sorry for her really I dont believe why guys treat nice girls badly .

We stayed there for what felt like an hour just me in my pajamas and her crying her eyes out till the tears stopped and she said.

"He told me he would wait for me, he told me he will wait till I finish college then he would ask for my hand in marriage ,he  told me  he can wait for s*x no pressure , he said he respects my f*cling decision to wait till marriage then he does this to me he didn't even glance at me for the last time before I left he just let me go without a fight or even explaining his actions he just sent me a text this morning saying that what I saw is what happened and it wasn't a mistake he said he couldn't wait any longer so he broke up with me though the phone like I'm garbage I knew that I'm nothing-" I cut her off I couldn't let her keep on saying bad things about herself while I know her worth.
