Silverfoot could feel the other cats' excitement as they made their way past the treeline.
"We're home!", Dreamspirit yowled.
Turtlestep and Applepaw turned to the others with sadness in their eyes.
"This is it", Applepaw sighed. "We go and warn the Clans."
"No more journey", Turtlestep meowed.
"Hey! Look! They're back!", a voice yowled.
Silverfoot looked and widened his green eyes. It was a StreamClan patrol. A mottled blue-gray tom was leading a slender dappled tortoiseshell and a black apprentice towards the group of traveling cats.
"There you are Turtlestep!", the dappled she-cat mewed with a purr.
"What are you doing with them?", the black apprentice asked.
"We went on a journey", Turtlestep told her.
"Come on", the mottled blue-gray tom meowed. "Reedstar needs to hear this."
As the others turned around to go towards TalonClan territory, a flash of gray and dark brown fur rushed up to the remaining cats.
"I'll see you three at the Gathering tonight", Turtlestep meowed.
"Come on Turtlestep!", the dappled she-cat yowled.
"Coming Dappledsplash!", he meowed.
As the cats pushed their way towards the next Clan's territory, Applepaw sniffed the air.
"I smell Runningsplash", the mottled apprentice meowed.
"That's because it is", a voice meowed.
The cats turned and saw three cats stalking up towards them. A large pale gray tabby was in the lead with a brown tabby and a ginger she-cat following behind.
"That must be Swoopflight and Stripeclaw with her", Dreamspirit whispered to Silverfoot.
"Well if it isn't Applepaw", Swoopflight meowed.
"You need to come with us", Stripeclaw meowed with a growl. He led the apprentice away and the two she-cats followed.
"Bye", Applepaw called over her shoulder.
Silverfoot couldn't wait to get home, but he knew that Dreamspirit still needed to go home. Before they could move four warriors were heading towards them. It was Shadowdapple, Darkclaw, Mazestem, and Volescratch.
