Once the Gathering was over with, Silverfoot was looking for his Clanmates when a loud howling noise broke out. The Clans stopped and let out yowls. Silverfoot felt blood wash around his paws and he let out a yowl of terror.

"Hey mouse brain! Hurry up!", a voice yowled.

Silverfoot shook his head and saw a cat hissing from behind him.  He dipped his head in apology and raced after his Clanmates.  The vision had seemed so real.  He was thinking about this until he really heard a howling  noise.  The warriors ahead of him leaped off of the tree trunk bridge and raced off. A large group if powerful wolves raced up to a pair of small cats.

"That's Dovepaw and Dashpaw!", he yowled.

The silver-gray tom raced up to the wolf and clawed its side. The wolf turned its wide gray head and snapped its jaws at him. The other Clan cats raced up and was hissing at it. The beast let out a howl and raced off with its tail between its legs.

"Now let's go",  Reedstar meowed.

The  light beige leader flicked his tail for his deputy Troutleap to follow him. The brown and silver she-cat padded up to her leader fell into step beside him.

"What about the wolf?", a light gray tabby asked.

"We will just have to watch it", Reedstar meowed.

Silverfoot was glad when they arrived to camp.  A howl suddenly split the air in his mind and the voice of Dominostar whispered in his ear.

"The threat has arrived", the leader whispered.

"So why did I have to go on this journey?", Silverfoot asked.

"You needed to see how good you are together when you work together. Those rogues don't live together and they help each more than the Clans help each other. Find the dawn before the darkness overpowers us all", Dominostar meowed.

Silverfoot brushed past his Clanmates and headed towards the nursery. He let out a sigh of relief when he saw that his mate was sound asleep with the kits buried in her fur.  He sighed and laid down beside them. He would do whatever it takes to protect his kits.
