"So we head for the sun?", Applepaw asked.  The mottled she-cat was looking up impatiently at Silverfoot.

"I guess", Silverfoot meowed.

"You guess? ",  Turtlestep asked.

"Look, I'm trying okay? Do you think that I wanted to follow this prophecy?", Silverfoot asked.

"Sorry", the tom meowed with flattened ears. He let the silver-gray tom take the lead and padded next to Dreamspirit.

Applepaw , who was listening to the three warriors talk, had now stopped and was sniffing the air.    "Dogs!", she yowled.

"This way!", Silverfoot yowled and ran up an oak tree.

His silver fur was fluffed up as he prayed to StarClan that the others had made it safely up a tree. He heard a yowl from Turtlestep and saw that he was being drug down from a low branch by a dog. With a huge leap, he landed on the dog's shoulders and tumbled to the ground. The dog raced towards him with a loud bark and left Turtlestep to clamber back up the trunk of the tree with wide amber eyes.

"Over here!", a voice yowled.

Silverfoot looked over his shoulder and growled. It was a black-and-brown rogue.

"Shut up and follow me if you want to see your friends", the rogue growled.

Silverfoot clamped his jaws shut and followed the stranger up a tree. He sat down and tried to catch his breath.

"Who are you?", the rogue asked.  "I've never seen cats like you before in these parts."

"I'm Silverfoot", he meowed.

"Well, Silverfoot it's nice to meet you.   My name's Timber", he meowed.  He leaped down the tree and looked back up at Silverfoot.  "Are you coming or are you going to sit there all night?"

"Yeah, sorry", Silverfoot meowed and leaped down onto the forest floor.

"Let's go", Timber meowed and waved his tail.

While they were walking , Silverfoot told him about the prophecy.

"So you and three others have to head to the beach?", he asked.

"I guess if that's where the sun sets", Silverfoot meowed.

"Hey, there you are!", Dreamspirit meowed with relief in her green eyes.

"Hello there", Timber meowed.

Dreamspirit turned her gaze towards the black-and-brown tabby and let out a yowl of warning. Silverfoot stopped her with a flick of his tail.
