Flight 1

Begenning New Lives.

~3 months later

Graduation is in a few days and we'll finally be out of school. I'm just real excited to spend more time with Dlo. I don't know where our relationship will be headed but I know it will be nice.

I was in first period with Donte, talking.

"What are you going to do now that we are not going to be in school?" I asked Donte as I sat on his desk and he sat on the chair.

"I don't know, where ever life pulls me to." He shurgged.

"Are we still going to be friends?" I asked as I played in his hair.

He looks alot different now than he did earlier in the year. He let his curly hair grow out just a little at the top. He has a little facial hair that really makes him look older, and his voice is a bit deeper. Even though he's just a friend, he looks sexy.

"Yea, I wouldn't just leave you."

"And i'm still going to live with you?" I joked.

Actually, I don't know if I still wan't to live with Donte to be honest. He has gotten his own apartment now that he is 19. He let me stay with him, but I don't know about living there. I do need to get my own place when I turn 18. Hopefully.

"I don't want a girl lagging in my house eryday' when I got bitches up in there." He laughed.

"Whatever." I smiled.

Donte has been talking to this one girl, but he never went into a relationship. I guess he does not want to be involved in a relationship because of what happened between him and Mackenzie, but i'm not sure.

Donte has also gotten a job. He works at foot locker. He needs that job so he could keep up with his apartment and stuff. I have to motivate Donte to keep that job, because he is so impatient and he hates his boss, but I don't want him in the streets.

We kept talking and Dlo came in.

"Hey bae." I said as I put my arms out.

He hugged me and picked me up. I laughed and he put me down. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him as he put his hands on my waist.

"Come on, fuck outta here with that." Donte put his hand infront of his face. He is so over drammatic. Everytime we kiss he acts like we fuck.

"Shut up." I told Donte as I turned around and smiled.

                            Dlo has stopped selling drugs, which maked me proud of him. He stopped a month after we got together and has not done it ever since.

"You ready bae?" Dlo asked me.

"For?"

"Graduation..."

"We were just talking about that. And yeah." I smiled big, just thinking of turning into a real adult.

"You coming to my graduation party?" He asked

               "You are having a whole graduation party with god knows how many people and I did not know about it?" I was actually suprised he did not invite me first. But eh.

"Sorry ma."

"I'll think about it..." I smiled.

"Aight, what about you nigga?" He asked Donte. That is just their thing, they call eachother nigga when they arnt even mad at eachother.

"I mean, sure. Better than being home alone." Donte really is not the party type, but he is not a boring person, he's fun to be around.

"Cool." He dapped Donte up and hugged me with one arm around my neck. "I'm out." I kissed his cheek and he walked out the room. This is not his first period, but he comes here anyways.

I got up and sat in my desk, waiting for the day to end.

Donte and I were spending time together, watching TV and we just got back from Taco Bell to spend some time out a little.

My phone rang and I got a call from Dlo.

"Sorry, I gotta take this real quick." I said as I got up from off of the floor.

"Aight." He said.

I slid the bar to accept the call.

"Hey." I said into the phone.

"Hey babygirl. What are you doin' right now?"

"Chilling with my bro'." I smiled even though he can't see me.

"Oh, you wanna come over?"

"Baby its too late to be coming over." I looked over at my clock. "It's damn near 9:30."

"Aight, damn just asking." He laughed.

I laughed too.

"I love you ma, I can't wait to spend my life with you." He was being sweet all of the sudden.

"Awe baby, I love you too."

"So uh, I was wondering if-" I inturuppted him.

"Sorry Dlo, I'll call you later." I said as I heard Donte yelling for me in the backround.

"Aight bye, Kayla."

"Bye.

                   I hung up and went into the room with Donte and sat back on the floor.

We watched TV for a while, talked, and just sat there on our phones. I yawned at rubbed my eyes.

"I'm heading to sleep." I said.

"Me too, wait up." He turned off the TV.

I turned off the lights and went upstairs.

"Wait, don't leave me in the dark!" He said like a baby.

I laughed and wen't in the bathroom, brushing my teeth.

"Goodnight." I smiled at him as I walked out the bathroom. He was waiting to go in there.

"Night."

~ Alright, so I admit this chapter was sorta boring, but it was just a filler chapter.

I cant wait for the next chapter because It will be drama filled. About time this book is starting to get good.

You guys know how in the begenning, its all boring and stuff. Well that's just to began it, but in the middle, it's juicy and drama! Yeahhh so beware.

I literally can't wait to write the next chaper, and it will be longer than this one. PROMISE
