chapter 1: first meeting

Kenny was searching for his sister Kuchel. Little did he know she was already gone and the only thing she left was a pure soul.

"Kuchel...ah if you mean Olympia..she's been sick for so long, she hasn't sold in ages." A bald man stated to Kenny and handed him a key to her room.

Not another word was spoken, and kenny made his way upstairs once he reached her room he didn't bother to knock he just walked in. She way lying in her bed that was right in front of Kenny.

"Hey hey hey damn, you've lost a ton of weight since last time, Kuchel" was his greeting as he approached her lifeless body. "She's dead" a weak voice spoke.

Kenny looked over to see fragile young boy sitting on the cold floor hugging his knees, his black hair was kinda long and covering his gray eyes he looked so pale like he hasn't eaten in a few days.

"And you? Are you alive?" Kenny asked him, however he got no response he just looked up at him with his dead eyes.

"Hey hey gimme a damn break...you hear me don'tcha?" He said getting annoyed. "Gotta name?"

"Levi....just levi."

"I get it, Kuchel...that's true, not worth using your name" he muttered then paused.

"I'm Kenny just Kenny, I used to know Kuchel. Nice to meetcha"

Kenny's POV

An unfriendly brat on the brink of death is all Kuchel left behind. I wasn't so heartless that I'd let the runt die but I wasn't steppin' in as a parent, either. There wasn't much I could teach 'em, but, first up was how to grip a knife, how to get along with people..and how to say hello, how to swing a deal and how to swing a knife. Basically, all one needs to know to survive in the underground if he wanted to go above ground, it was up to him, but when that time comes he have to do it himself.

~time skip: few years later (brought you by Levi modeling to Victoria secret)

By the time levi turned 11, he knew how to fight. To a kid that barely lived anything from his life seeing him beating up older men, was incredible.
One day Levi got into another fight however this time was different, Kenny turned his back to him and left.

Levi was distracted questioning Kenny's actions that he didn't notice the two men who were charging at him, they wanted to take revenge for beating their boss up.

Just before they could lay a hand on him, someone beat them to it. A blue haired girl around Levi's age grabbed his hand and started running as fast as she can to the farthest place her legs could carry her to.

The two men followed them yelling at the two kids to stop but they didn't, Levi was shocked of this girl's behavior, for all his life no one showed him mercy or kindness but this fragile figure came up to him without hesitation saving him even though she didn't know him.

After a little while the girl came to stop in an alley, and that's when Levi noticed that the two men are no longer following them

What happened to these bastards? Did we lost them? Did they give up?

Levi thought to himself but cut it short and paid attention to the girl who was struggling to catch her breath, she had blue eyes, short blue hair and a little bit taller than him.

Levi mood changed from being thankful to completely annoyed but soon let it go. "You two alright?" A voice asked from behind them, both of them turned their heads to the source.
A smiling boy was looking at them he seemed to be around their age.

"Yep what about you? Managed to get rid of them?" The girl asked, and the boy nodded. Both the boy and the girl opened another conversation that Levi didn't care about and didn't bother to even listen.

"So shortie what's your name?" The girl exclaimed looking down at the boy since she was taller than him. "Tsk none of your business" Levi replied annoyed and mad.

Just who does think she is? He thought to himself glaring at her. "Yeesh at least be thankful we just saved your ass you know" she glared back.

Before Levi could reply the boy butt in. "Now now don't be like that! Name is Farlan and this is Narumi what's your name" he said sweetly with a smile on his face which made the Narumi girl roll her eyes.

"Levi" the black haired boy coldly answered. Narumi sighed before speaking again "well Levi do you've anywhere to go back to?"

Levi's expression switched to a sad look but he didn't show it and Farlan seemed to believe it but not Narumi she knew something was off.

After few seconds of silence he finally gave some kind of response which was shaking his head Farlan felt bad for him and was about to comfort him but was cut off by Narumi who took Levi's hand gently and started running.

"Come on Farlan, if we don't hurry we'll get in trouble" she called out to him as he started running after them.

"Oi what do you think you're doing I don't know you-" Levi started yelling but was cut off by her again.

"We introduced ourselves already so that's makes us more than strangers but less than friends besides in this world most of us share the same life story, no home no food and no family am I wrong?" She explained looking at levi over her shoulder with a smile on her face, Levi felt speechless he couldn't deny any of what she said, he lost everything in other words he was left with nothing.

"Where are we going then?" He asked her looking away from her. "Pfft you're really dumb aren't ya?" She laughed at him and he rolled his eyes.

"Even though it's obvious I'll still tell you, we're going to our home" the young girl exclaimed, Levi's grayish eyes went wide when he heard her words, he was shocked of this stranger but questioned no more and kept running hand in hand with the blue haired girl.
