NO! Please! Don't hurt me! DON'T HURT ME! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! Please! Dad, please stop! Help! I'm scared! Somebody! Anybody! Help me!

Poland heared these pleas as he woke up suddenly in the middle of the night.

These wails sounded like Germany's voice. He must be having a nightmare.

Poland left his room and entered the living room, where he saw Germany shaking and screaming in his sleep. His eyes were open, but they were glassy and unseeing, suggesting he was having a night terror.

Poland didn't know what to do in this situation so he just put his hand on Germany's head, hoping that he'd calm down.

After a few minutes of screaming and shaking, Germany woke up from the Night terror and panted with exhaustion. He then started crying. The Night terror must have been particularly bad.

Poland hugged the poor kid and gently rubbed his hand against his back to try and calm his breathing. He was honestly scared for him.

But then he had an idea. He would sing Germany a lullaby to help him go back to sleep, or at the very least, calm him down.

[In Polish]:

Walk through the deep dark forest

Everywhere there's a monster

All the winds they seem to echo

All the looming trees seem so hollow

So let the night

Take your hand away

Deep into the unknown

Where the light won't glow

For those who forsake everything that

They have ever known

So don't be scared of the dark

It's ok.

I'm here by your side

The monsters won't find you

If we hide from the eyes of predators

We won't have to go far

Where we are right now

Walking through the deep dark forest

Those watchful eyes, they all linger

But they have no where else to go

When our hearts will guide us through so

Dont ever dare worry

The monsters will smell us

Hurry

Come take my hand and you'll see

How blinded they will all be

So let the night

Take your hand away

Deep into the unknown

Where the moonlight glows

For those whose who hold love

Deep in their hearts

So never part

With those you have loved

They're there for you

And they care for you now

Maybe one those monsters will find their own starlight.

Germany had calmed down immensely, which relieved Poland. Germany looked at Poland with tired eyes.

Germany: Was that in your language Mr.Poland?

Poland: Yes.

Germany: What's my name in your language?

Poland: Niemcy.

Germany: In mine, you're Polen.

Poland: Polen huh? Well Niemcy I think you need to go back to bed.

Germany: Ok Polen.
