Poland was taken to the other side of the curtian that EU had entered from. There he met the child he was forced to adopt. The small boy named "Germany" had yellow, red, and black on his flag. There seemed nothing unusual about him either. He was just a normal kid, but that seemed to only make Poland more wary.
Germany noticed Poland and walked up to him with a smile and a tiny hand held out towards him.
Germany: H-hello! My name is Germany! What's your name?
Poland looked a bit disgusted at the hand being held out to him, but the glare UN and EU gave him told him that he had to take it. So he suspiciously shook the child's hand.
Poland: ......Poland......
Germany seemed blissfully ignorant towards Poland's attitude towards him. After all, everyone but UN and EU treated him the same.
Germany: That's great! It's nice to meet you Mr. Poland! Are you going to adopt me?
Poland: Yeah..... Not like I have any other choice.
Germany: Yay! I can't wait to go home with you!
UN: Can you excuse us for a moment Germany? I need to talk to Poland about some grown up things. Is that ok?
Germany: Yes, that's ok Mr.UN.
UN took Poland by the hand and dragged him over and put him in a corner away from Germany.
UN: Now listen here... This kid doesn't know what his father did, doesn't have anything against you, and has been more behaved than I've seen you ever do, and he's THREE! So you either get your act together, or there will be severe consequences. Am I clear?
Poland looked at UN nervous and sweaty with pure fear. He just whimpered and nodded at the Super Nation. UN heaved a sigh and brought Poland back to Germany.
UN: Sorry about that. Now you both can get to know each other a bit more.
Germany: Yay! I want to know everything about Mr.Poland! He seems like a great person!
Poland now started to feel a bit guilty for his harshness towards the kid. Here he was, already hating him for what his Father did, without actually knowing him, meanwhile Germany already thinks of Poland as a great person and the first few moments they had been together he wasn't fair to Germany at all!
Poland: ........Hey, Germany, was it? Do... You maybe want to go to my house right now? I could make you a room, or you could sleep on the couch.
Germany: *gasp* Really!? Yes, yes, yes! I want to come, pretty please!
Poland chuckled nervously. He wasn't sure if he was going to regret this or not.
