Luke's POV:
I got Bo and Tate ready while Til got dressed. After the boys were ready I went to change myself. I put on a tshirt and a pair of cargo shorts. Til, Bo, Tate, and I went out back and started up the 4wheeler. They sat in the middle and passenger seats as I drove through the mud. They were covered in the sopping wet, brown joy. I laughed and stopped the 4wheeler.
"Can I drive?" Til smiled. I nodded. Bo and Tate hopped off and stood in the grass. Til sat in the driver's seat and flew around in the mud. I sat in the passenger side and held onto the bar at my side. We were both laughing and smiling. I let Bo and Tate "drive" and then we had lunch. Caroline made us sandwiches and lemonade before she and the girls left. The boys and I are on the porch. Still dripping with mud, I hosed us off and we are. The lemonade was refreshing on my dry lips.
Kris's POV: Aunt Caroline and I dragged Jordan along store after store after store. We could tell she was enjoying it though. Finally we took a break and ate ice cream for awhile at Dairy Queen.
"Where to next?" Aunt Caroline asked.
"Can we go to Forever 21?" Jordan smiled.
"There's that pretty voice. Haven't heard you speak all day. Of course we can!" Aunt Caroline smiled. We bought a few things for Jordan at Forever 21 and then went down to Cabelas to buy some camo gear.
Caroline's POV: I called Luke to check on them. They were still mudding and having fun. The girls and I shopped all over town and our arms were starting to hurt. We walked down the sidewalk back to the car.
"Oh my god. It's Caroline Bryan!" A girl about thirteen shouted. Jordan, Kris and I turned around. "And Jordan and Kris!!!!" She squealed. "Can I please get a picture?"
"Of course" I smiled. We took the pictures and headed back to the car. "What do y'all want for dinner?" I asked.
"Can you make tacos?" Jordan asked back.
"Sure." I said and pulled into our driveway. It was more like, long dirt path that led to front door. We got out and went inside.
Luke's POV: After a couple more hours of playin in the mud. I took the boys up to the outdoor shower and we all rinsed and dried off. When we walked inside there were bags everywhere. On the couch. On the counters. On the floor. On the table.
"What the hell did y'all but?" I asked. Caroline laughed. She was standing over the stove making dinner. I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist.
"Hi." She giggled.
"Hi." I kissed her and pulled back. She finished up browning the beef and prepared all the other taco ingredients. All the boys were showering and Kris and Jordan were sorting through all their bags. After everyone was cleaned up and the table was cleared of Hollister, Aeropostale, Forever 21, and surprisingly cabelas bags, we ate. After dinner we watched a few movies and went to bed. It was the perfect day.
