Flynn walked into his father's office and logged onto the computer. Ben knew he was using it, so there wouldn't be any problems. He knew the password after years of using it along with his father.

He turned on the computer, typed in the password, and waited for the computer to fully power on, which would take a couple minutes.

Flynn sighed and leaned back in the chair. While the computer was still running okay, it was starting to slow down given that it was outdated and he kept telling Ben that it was time to get a new one, but Ben always said there was no point in going out and buying something else when the object was already working.

When the computer was finally up, Flynn pulled up the High Council's website. The website could be used by supernaturals only. The website ensured the person trying to log on was a supernatural by having you fill out a form giving your information. You had to do that every time you logged on, no matter which computer you had, even if it was a computer that could save your information. It could get annoying at times, but he knew it was to ensure safety and he'd take being safe then annoyed any day.

He breathed a sigh of relief when the website finally pulled up. He clicked on the registered supernaturals icon and typed in Lupe's name.

LUPE SULLIVAN

After a couple seconds, a few results came up, showing three names with the name Lupe Sullivan along with a picture of each girl beside it. He immediately recognized Lupe's picture. She appeared to be a few years younger in the picture and had white blond hair rather than her crazy colors.

He clicked on her picture and it took him to an article that featured her name along with information about her.

His eyes nearly bulged out of his head when he saw the headline of the article she was mentioned in. The headline read: INTERSPECIES COUPLE MURDERED IN HATE CRIME

She'd lied about the way her parents had died. He distinctly remembered hearing about the case when it occurred about five years ago and being sick when he heard about the treacherous act. He'd had a lot going on at the time to really read too much into it, but now he was reading through it thoroughly, trying to make sense of all of this. He read everything.

"On April 28th, 2015, an interspecies couple was killed in their own home as a hate crime. The couple was Matthias and Everly Sullivan. Matthias was a werewolf and had previously resided in the River Valley Pack in Nebraska and Everly was a witch who had been training to get on the High Council. The couple moved to North Carolina shortly after they married and they had a daughter, Lupe Everly Sullivan, who was unharmed during the attack but went missing after she ran away from her foster home.

"Matthias and Everly had created a foundation to support other interspecies couples because they had faced multiple prejudices due to their marriage and wanted to try to make a safe place for couples in an interspecies marriage. They were working to make an interspecies marriage more accepting.

"While their foundation did have a lot of positive feedback, they also faced a lot of harassment. There have been multiple threats made to them for their marriage with some protestors even threatening to bomb their house and building they held their group meetings in.

"Investigators on this case are saying their home had been broken into when their murdered occurred. Matthias had been in his wolf form when his body was discovered. He'd presumably shape shifted in order to fend off the attacker. He had multiple stab wounds and his funeral was held in a closed casket. Everly also had multiple stab wounds, in the chest area and face. Her state was so severe that her funeral also had to be held in closed casket.
