I hear a breath hitch behind me. Paralyzed in fear, I begin to turn around. When I realize I'm not alone, a large hand covers my mouth silencing my scream.

-----------------------------------------------------------

"Don't worry Lidya. I'm here to protect you, not hurt you." a deep voice grunted. Even though questions are running through my head like crazy, I am foolish enough to believe him.

As the mysterious man begins to turn me around, I shut my eyes in fear.

"Darling, please don't be afraid. I'm here to save you."

"Wh-what's your n-name?" I breathe out.

A deep rumble comes from him. "Open your eyes, darling."

Slowly, my eyes peel open, leaving me staring in awe. He was gorgeous. Like, un-humanly spectacular. Over all, he was about 6'3"-no- 6'4". His body not fully muscular, but not nearly scrawny either. He was just right. His golden hair is wavy with dark roots. Piercing green eyes look back at me in an unknown emotion. His features are sharp, yet somehow, delicate.

"Are you done studying me? Your beginning to drool." A slight smirk is plastered on his face.

"You never told me your name, stranger. I think I have the right to know." my reply was answered with a light chuckle.

"Aidan. Aidan James Alexander. The fourth." Damn- that's a mouthful.

"How did you know my name Aidan James Alexander the fourth?"

"1. It's just Aidan. 2. You wouldn't believe me, even if I showed you. For now, let's just say," he paused for a little while before taking a deep breath. "Let's just say I came into your life for a very special reason. A very special person sent me." His reply left me confused and speechless.

"Who sent you? Why did you say you were here to protect me? Am I in danger? Do I need to tell my family?" In order to shut me up, he places a finger gently on my mouth.

"Man I got a talker didn't I," he mutters to himself. "What about the whole You'll figure it out later thing do you not understand?"

I give him a hmph as a reply, he just laughs it off. After a few more minutes of mindless talking, a little buzzing sound goes through the room. Aidan's ears perk up at the slight noise as he rises from his perch on my bed.

"I-I must go now," he stutters out.

As he makes a move to leave, he presses a slight kiss to my forehead as he jumps from my two story window to the ground below.

I ran to the window, but his body appears to be non-existent.

What the heck just happened?

After calming myself down from the strange encounter, particular thoughts of a golden haired man scatter throughout my dreams. But in each dream, a creamy golden feather is placed in his grip.
