To Make You Happy (HIATUS)

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Hey everybody! It's me! 

This is going to be a two part announcement

FIRST!

I know I've been MIA recently, and I'm am so so so so sorry. 

Truthfully, I lost interest in the story for a while I didn't really have a clear direction where it was heading. I wrote on a whim without a clear story arc and looking back on it, the writing is sloppy and a bit childish. Which is understandable because I actually started writing this when I was probably 13 or 14? 

So I reread the story and I'm not very happy with my work. 

I am going to put this on HIATUS, for the following reasons.

1. I want to rewrite the story.

2. I have a new vision for the story line now that the descendants series is finished. 

I still plan to make it Jay/Mal, but I will be starting from the first movie. Plotwise it will be the same with my own twist and dramatic flares. I envision a series, three stories just like there are three movies. 

This story will not be taken down. I will leave it up until the new version is complete or even indefinitely. Please be patient with me. I'm also terribly sorry if this disappoints anyone. You have no idea how much I loved your support. I never expected to get over 50 reads, yet you gave me thousands of them. Not to mention the votes! I thought I'd get 2 at most. 

Truly, your support through comments and voting, have meant the entire world to me! I'm forever grateful for the love you've shown me and I hope to make it up to you.

PART TWO: WARNING 18+

I'm sure everyone here is aware of what's happening in the US and all over the world. 

I want to make it clear that I stand with the peaceful movement of Black Lives Matter. It is not fair nor right for a minority to be treated so severely. 

Please do not say 'All Lives Matter' 

While that statement is correct, you are completely sweeping the problem under the rug. Yes! All Lives Matter, that's why we're saying Black Lives Matter! But for years, Black Lives have not mattered equally to white lives. 

Also if you make the claim that protestors are dangerous, you are seeing the wrong ones. 

Peaceful protests have been staged all across the US for weeks. In those incidents no one attacked an officer, they simply used their freedom of speech to voice their thoughts, to get justice for the wrongdoings. These peaceful protesters were met with rubber bullets, pepper spray, and tear gas. Sometimes the peaceful ones even get arrested. 

Then there are the people taking advantage of the situation, who loot and riot in the middle of all the chaos. THAT is what the media shows. Please take it into your own hands to see both sides of the story. 

I'm sure some will disagree with me or have their own thoughts to say and I expect it. 

Please if you can, support the movement. It can be dangerous, even in peaceful protests, especially with Covid-19 still spreading, but please fo what you can. If you can't make it out to the protests, then speak up, sign petitions, make donations to the movement. 

One step can go a long way.
