"What the heck is she doing here, Junmyeon-hyung?" Chanyeol asked, irritated.

Junmyeon chuckled awkwardly and he was about to speak when Wendy interrupted him.

"Hi Chanyeol! Did you miss me?" She smiled sweetly at the taller before glancing at Baekhyun head to toe  making the prince's eyebrow quirk. "So, this is Baekhyun, huh?"

"What's wrong with her?" Baekhyun whispers to Chanyeol.

Chanyeol shrugged. "Why are you here?" He asks with his eyebrows furrowed. It's not that he's bitter or something. He just finds it hard and awkward to deal with his ex, his first love.

"Aww, Channie, I just wanted to visit you since I'm on a vacation here in Korea. And almost everyone is talking about you and that guy over there. So, I'm just curious. After all, we did care for each other back then."

Hearing Wendy's words left a bitter taste on Baekhyun's mouth. His heart is clenching with the thought of Chanyeol loving someone who's not him. Jealousy was eating his system. What if they get back together? What would happen to him? He will not only lose a place to stay at, he'll also lose the barbaric elf he's in love with.

"That's all in the past. You don't need to care anymore. I moved on and you also probably did, since you were the one who left, right?" There was no sign of hurt or bitterness in his voice. Just annoyance.

Wendy paused for a little while, taken back. "I just wanted to see who replaced me in your heart. I know how much I had hurt you. But believe me, I didn't mean it. I--"

"Stop it, Wendy. If you're expecting us to get back together, then the answer is no." He turned to Baekhyun and his face softened when he saw the prince looking worried for him. "Baek, I'm okay. Don't worry. I'll fetch you at 9 PM, okay? Don't overwork yourself. I'll get going." He ruffled his hair and fixed his shirt. He spared Baekhyun a glance before leaving the shop.

Junmyeon went beside Wendy and patted her. "I know you regret leaving Chanyeol. But you see, my cousin is happy now." He leans closer to her so that Baekhyun wouldn't hear what he was about to say. "If you're planning to do something to ruin them, I'm warning you. Stay away right now, you don't know what I can do." He pulled away and smiled sweetly to Baekhyun.

Baekhyun hesitantly smiled back before looking at Wendy again. She's really beautiful and she also looks smart. She's a high-class and her, together with Chanyeol would make a good couple and everyone will be jealous of them.

"But I'm a high-class too.. A higher class even. She's a mere peasant and I'm a prince..." He mumbles. He knows he's also better in some aspects and he shouldn't be jealous.

But Chanyeol fell in loved with her and that's all I need to be jealous.

Baekhyun shakes his head frantically as he tries to erase the thoughts inside his head. It's fine, what matters the most is the present right?

He jolts when he felt someone tap him. When he turned, he saw Wendy smiling at him. He smiled back but it was fake. Thank goodness he mastered faking a smile since he has to face a lot of fake people.

"Can we talk later? After your work, come here in this address alone. I'll be seeing you." She gave him a card and finally left the shop.

After she left, Junmyeon went to him. Baekhyun quickly hid the card when Junmyeon eyed him suspiciously.

"What did she give you?"

Baekhyun shrugged. "Oh, it's nothing Hyung." Feeling that the older is still not convinced, he changed the topic. "About the Loey hoodie, when will the demo arrive?"
