Enchanted (CHANBAEK)

Since I've been receiving lots of support from you, I decided to publish this even though I haven't reached the ten-chapter mark lol. I'm having fun of writing this one since I particularly like disney and fantasies so yeah, I hope you'll have fun reading this too. And also, I really suck at editing but I'll fix the cover if I had the chance to. Enjoy!

"Your highness, please! Where are you?" The maids were in chaos as they searched for the naughty prince.

"Have you seen him?" Butler Do worriedly asks them. The maids shook their heads. Kyungsoo cursed. "That child, really."

Meanwhile, a certain small prince who's hiding in the grasses holds back his laughter as he sees the whole castle, frantically looks for him. Today is the day he will be meeting the candidates to be his wife or husband. And like hell he's getting married. He doesn't want to get tied. He had been reading a lot of books (and unfortunately, all that he had read were either tragic romance or someone abusing their lover. you can't blame him though, because he only searched in one shelf out of hundreds.) and romance scares the hell out of him.

"Such a pleasure seeing you here, Prince Baekhyun." He jolts in surprise when someone calls him. He turns his head and he sees his cousin, Jinah, smirking at him. He's fully aware that she hates him and the feeling is mutual. That bitch has been always jealous of him and he thinks it's because she just belongs to the branch family.

"Everyone is looking for you... loving the attention, huh?" What a nerve, insulting a prince. Baekhyun rolled his eyes and was about to walk away when she grabbed him. "Meet me at 12 midnight. At the fountain at the back of the castle."

"And why should I listen to you?" He raises his eyebrow.

Jinah grinned. "You don't want to get married, right?"

Baekhyun's suspicious. Why is she being nice? Perhaps she wants something in return? 

"And what do you want in return?" 

She laughed like a madman. "Oh no no no, I just want to help you because it pains me to see you struggling so much."

Yes, Baekhyun is wise yet he is also naive. After examining Jinah's face, he shrugged. Maybe she will really help him. He's desperate to escape his destiny.

"How can you prove that you're not fooling me? Is there any assurances wherein you will really help me?"

"I will help you, I promise. Why would I even trick your highness? I don't want myself hanged in the town square." Baekhyun nodded. She sure does have a point.

"Fine. You said so yourself." He shook her hands and walked away.

Jinah grinned at the prince's oblivion. "That is... if you could ever tell anyone that I tricked you." The place was filled with wicked laughs as the sky starts to darken.

Baekhyun pouts as his butler looks sharply at him.

"We looked everywhere for you! And you'll tell me that you fell asleep in the bushes?!" Kyungsoo was fuming when he caught the young prince sneaking silently to his room.

Baekhyun gulped. Kyungsoo is more terrifying than his own father, he thinks. Yes, his father has the aura wherein you would shiver with just one stare but his butler's gaze is much more scary and it would make you want to shrink.

"I'm telling the truth. I was about to go when I felt the wind calling me and the chirps of the birds singing me a lullaby."

Kyungsoo massaged his head. The prince is trolling him again.
