* A couple days later *

It was Saturday again, which meant video shooting. Today it was the Amnesia part of the video and I was looking forward to it, since two other girls where joining me and Alex. I was really happy, cause that would mean that I didn't have to spend the whole day with Alex, my former best friend.

Calum had spoilt me already with some details from what would happen today. Yes, indeed, Calum. The next morning when I woke up, he had again answered my DM and a whole conversation had started. We even exchanged numbers and continued over text messages. It turned out he was a really sweet and down to earth guy and I was looking forward to seeing him and the rest of the band again.

I walked into the studio and Ashton was there to greet me happily.

"- Stardancer number one is in the house!" He came over to me and gave me a high five.

"- You seem happy.

- I am!! Alex isn't coming, but you probably already knew that!" I was shocked.

"- What? Why? And why are you so happy about that?" I chuckled. I couldn't hide the fact that I did like it that she wouldn't be here and I smiled.

"- First of all, because she was really stalkery, she came to search for us in our hotel and screamed things like 'I love you, Ash, marry me' and sended all kinds of flowers. But her mom called the board to tell that she was grounded for an unknown reason and that she wasn't aloud to participate anymore. You know why?

- No, Alex and I... aren't friends anymore.

- Why?

- Let's just say she had only eyes for herself when I needed her the most with the thing with my brother.

- Oh I see." I saw that he wanted to ask further, but Luke and Calum came running up to me.

"- Chloe!! Great seeing you again! How's your brother doing?" Calum asked. I felt like we were becoming friends and good ones. I was really comfortable around him and that doesn't happen very often with me.

"- He's doing better. Doctors think he's able to go home somewhere next week.

- Wow, wait, doctor? Going home?" Luke seemed confused.

"- What did I miss?

- Mikey, late as always!" Ashton seemed annoyed.

"- Shut the fuck up, Ash.

- Don't swear!!" Those guys were so funny to see.

"- Guys, come on. We have a guest here. And more to come.

- Hey yeah, how's it going to go now Alex isn't coming anymore?" I asked curious.

"- We asked another girl! So three newbees today, you'll have to teach them how it works here." Mikey said with a wink.

"- They're all from somewhere in LA, so maybe you know them already. I don't think they're from the same school as you.

- Yeah, than I probably don't know them." I smiled.

"- They should be arriving soon.

- Jup! But hey Chloe, tell us about your brother, what happened?"

I wasn't sure I should be telling all of them. I only told Calum because he asked and I feel comfortable around him. On the other hand: they're such good friends, if they'll keep asking Calum, which I don't think they won't, cause they don't know me, but anyway: they'll know too. So I told them, the short version, and luckily they showed sympathy and didn't laugh or something like that. Only seconds after I finished talking, the other girls walked into the room. I still can't believe that I told something private like that to almost complete strangers to me. On the other hand, I did feel comfortable around them.
The three girls walked in together, so I guess they know each other already. They walked over to us, all very excited.

"- Hello girls, you already know me, Mikey, Ashton and Calum, but this is Chloe, one of the two lead dancers in the video.

- Nice to meet you." I said a bit shy, as always. Why am I always like that around new people?

"- Nice to meet you too! My name is Lori." A girl with straight brown hair reaching just about her shoulders, smiled friendly at me and reached out her hand. I gladly shook it. Her being so friendly made me already less nervous.

"- Hi, I'm Laura." Another girl, she had long brown hair, smiled also, but looked a bit shy, just like me. We just waved at each other.

"- Hey!! I'm Phoebe!" The last girl was a bit too excited. I liked her though, even though I was afraid that my arm was going to fall off when she shook my hand.

"- Hi. Again, nice to meet you all. I've got the feeling we will be having some good times.

- Yeah!" Phoebe yelled.

We all had to laugh with her hilarious shout out. Much time to talk there wasn't, cause the producer came to tell us that we should get dressed for rehearsals. Dancers were up first again. All of these girls were so talented, it made me insecure about why they picked me. I mean, they were one thousand times better. Amnesia had a quite slow choreography and we had to dance with the boys. It was 5 Seconds of Summer their choice, so eventually Phoebe ended up with Luke, Lori with Ashton, Laura with Mikey and I ended up with Calum. It was a really nice piece to dance and I was surprised by how good the guys were at dancing with partners. I've been dancing my whole life and even I still fail sometimes. By lunch we all knew the choreo so good that we could dance it with our eyes closed and we were allowed to take a break.

Luke asked if we wanted to join them at lunch. We all agreed and he took us back to the room where we ate last week. I got the chance to get to know these girls better and also the band. I noticed they were all single, but I can tell you that sparks were flying in that room. There was non-stop flirting done, even though I don't think it was on purpose. Even Calum tried to flirt with me and I let him go. Austin and I never really flirted before we got together and to be honest, I have to admit that I kind of liked Calum being all flirty with me. Of course I still love Austin, but a little flirting won't harm, right? Besides, he doesn't have to know... I'm not like that, I'll never cheat on Austin, I love him too much for that. But a girl never says no to a guy complimenting her, right?
