[ SORA ] - On Hiatus

SASUKE

"Did otosan have another wife?"

That was the question. He had asked his mother one time how babies were made and how he came out from his mother's stomach. Like, wasn't the stomach supposed to be where your food goes and disappears? His mother laughed at his question and there wasn't even anything remotely funny, in fact he was very serious. And that's how he learned the birds and the bees, that babies were formed with lovers, a husband and a wife, like his mother and father, sleeping together.

Sasuke blushed at the thought...

"Of course not my dear, you are not blood related but he is now your brother."

"But how..."

"You'd understand everything when you grow up Sasuke."

And that's how the conversation came to an end. He was pouting, why couldn't he understand now? That just doesn't make any sense. He'd rethink everything over and over again yet gained no progress. He wanted to ask the kid but that'd be too embarrassing to seek answers from someone younger than him. Sora was even an inch smaller than him. Sasuke was also quite sure Sora wouldn't know the answer. And so he decided to accept him, for now that is.

"Sora, how old are you?"

And there goes the kid again rolling his eyes as if asking that very question was an insult.

"What are you frowning for?" Sasuke added. He'd never accept someone younger than him being so rude, specially someone who's now part of the family. He'd teach the little boy some manners, that's what he'd do! Just like his big brother!

"Nothing. I just told you yesterday and the day after yesterday and the day after that yesterday that I am technically a year younger than you but I am really older than you. Don't ask how. That's just a fact." Sora turned his back and continued, "I am going out. Don't follow me." Sora glared yet Sasuke remained unfazed and continued his train of thought.

Do not follow huh...

Saying that was just asking Sasuke to follow him. How was Sora claiming he's older when he's so stupid?

What if his stupidity caused him to get in trouble? That would be bad for the Uchiha clan and his brother might be disappointed when he couldn't even properly guide Sora to the right path! What kind of big brother would let his little brother go roam around strangers! Of course, It'd be an exception if the younger brother is already fairly knowledgeable on his surroundings, just like Sasuke, but Sora might still need protection and he couldn't risk not following when there's a chance that everything would be in a dire situation.

Stupid Sora!

And so Sasuke followed...

He noticed Sora frowning and sighing after a few seconds. He wouldn't have known about Sasuke tailing his back right? He wouldn't. Sasuke reassured himself.

But then Sora stopped and turned towards the spot he was hiding... he couldn't have-!

But before he could change his position, Sora was already behind him. How?!

"I told you not to follow me." There was an underlying threat behind his words. Sasuke gulped and tried his best to look at the boy's eyes. Sora was angry at him. Why though? What did he do? All he did was trail- yeah, he disobeyed him, so what? It was purely with good intentions. He didn't deserve the hate.
