Chp 1: School Prank

Laura's POV:
As I'm going through my locker, my science book falls onto the dirty school hallway. Gross. Before I have a chance to bend down and pick it up, a blonde on a skateboard zooms past me. Stupid juvenile delinquents. Always causing trouble.
Fortunately, my boyfriend comes by and flashes a winning smile. There goes Riker always making my day. "How are you beautiful?" "Great not that your here," I say giggling. We kiss and continue with the day.
Riker's POV:
I walk Laura to science. She's acting all cute, as always. We were almost near science when the bell rings and the principal starts talking.
(P: principal, S: students, D: delinquents)
P- Attention students, due to a prank in the school's plumbing system by the delinquents *an angry tone in his voice* all water sources have been flooding the school. Because of my and the staff's concern for your safety, all classes have been canceled. You may leave for today. See you all next week as these damages take time major to repair. *yells in complete anger into the speaker*
S: Owwwwwww!
P: Also may I see all the delinquents in my office as soon as possible with each and every one of your parents.
D: What! No. Run, go, go, go!
P: Don't even think of running I'll drag you here if I have to, *starts yelling like crazy again* GET INTO MY OFFICE RIGHT NOW WITH YOUR PARENTS!!!
*end of announcement*
Laura's POV:
Ha proves them right for what they did. The great news is that now me and Riker can head out. He decides for us to go to mall, just the two of us. Of course I say yes. We walk over to the school parking lot. I point out seeing the water fountain spilling out water like crazy. The principal was right, this was serious. Ahhhh! I slip! Riker comes rushing right away saying, "Are you ok babe." "Yeah, I'm fine," I say as I touch my head hoping there's no bruise. Good there isn't.
Riker's POV:
I was so thankful that Laura was ok. I would die knowing she was seriously hurt. After I helped her up, I insist to carry her on my back to make sure she doesn't fall again. She says no at first, but after I pushed her up against the lockers and gave her a kiss she finally said yes. We make it to my car and off to the mall we went.
*at the mall*
(L: Laura, R: Riker)
L: Come on babe there's a sale going on.
R: *sarcasm* Yassss, I'm so excited.
L: Oh quick complaining. Fine, we'll just go to the movie theater and watch whatever movie you want.
R: Yes!
Laura's POV:
We decide to watch Big Hero 6. I got the popcorn and Riker went to get the tickets. Let's see Riker usually gets a medium bag of butter popcorn, diet coke, and then gummy worms. Then for me I'll just share with popcorn with Riker, I'll get a regular coke, and then some nachos. I know my boyfriend so well.
Riker's POV:
Got the tickets. I think I should surprise Laura. But how? Oh I know! I sneak up behind Laura, and bam, I start singing. Nah that's lame, wait why am I even surprising her. *thinking face on* Oh whatever, anyways I bet she's waiting for me. I find Laura she's at the snack bar with that positive attitude. She's one of the best things that I have in my life. My cute girlfriend, dressed in the leather jacket I have her, white blouse, and acid tone jeans. Yes, acid tone, I know my fashion words. Anyways we finally make it into theater. This is going to be the best movie ever because my girl is here right besides me.
Laura's POV:
Turns out me and Riker were the only ones in the theater. Makes sense since our school was the lucky one to be flooded on a Monday. Or not so lucky, however you look at it. So yeah as tempting as it was to run around the theater we stayed mature throughout the whole movie. Oh who am I'm kidding. We did get out of our seats many times, kissed for who knows how long, cuddled, had a popcorn food fight, and eventually were told to be quiet. But at that time the movie was about to end in about 15 minutes so we basically got the last laugh. The day couldn't have gone any better, but I was wrong because I got a text that made my day even better.
(L: Laura, D: Laura's Dad)
D: Hey Laura, I heard what happened at school so your mom and I decided to help out for the rest of the day. But when we got to the school, the flood damage wasn't any joke. The school asked as many parents if they can stay overnight to help for service hours. Your mom and I said yes so we asked Riker's parents if you can sleep over at their house. I know you can stay home alone now but your mom and I wanted you to be extra safe.
L: It's no problem dad, I'll just be home by tomorrow and ask Riker to drop me off by the house so I can pick up my stuff.
D: No need, your mom and I dropped off everything you need for the night at the Lynch's house before we went to the school.
L: Oh ok, see you guys tomorrow stay safe.
D: Ok, bye.
*end of conversation*
Riker's POV:
Laura just told me that she's staying over tonight. Ah yes, I know the whole drill for when she stays over. Her parents will drop off everything she needs for the night. She and my sister, Rydel, have girl talk and catch up with things. Then she bosses Ross about him being a delinquent and eventually they'll argue. Fortunately, my mom will call everyone for dinner. Finally, everyone will go to sleep and I let my girlfriend sleep in my bedroom while I stay on the couch. Laura always says that she can just stay on the couch instead but I just want the best for her so I always say no. She won't agree, but after I sweet talk her and give her a kiss Laura will finally agree. I feel like she always agrees after a give her kiss, but who could blame her. Or maybe it's just in my head, I don't really know.
Laura's POV:
Oh no. Riker is not going to do his same old routine whenever I sleepover. I make him think that after he kisses me I always agree, but that's not completely true. It's mainly because after I say no one more time he'll make this whole speech over such a little argument and that just drives me crazy. Plus who doesn't want a kiss from their boyfriend. But sometimes I feel he's always babying me. Whatever, I just feel this night is going to be different, at least I hope so.
