"Hey...! (l/n) chan, how was yesterday?" Akabane greets as she sits on my table.

"Good morning, Akabane chan," I smile at her. "Yesterday was fine. Anyways, what was up with you guys yesterday?"

"Noooothing...?" She stalls, averting her eyes from me.

"Don't go all 'nothing' on me you guys left me!" I pouted.

"We didn't leave you. We let you stay with your other friends!"

"I'm asking the other two when the arrive," I huff, crossing my arms. At that exact moment, Ayano and Mizuno enter the classroom. "Speak of the devil. Hey you guys! What happened yesterday?"

"Wow! Good morning to you too, (l/n) chan." Ayano pouts as she sets down her bag on her table in front of mine. "Besides, shouldn't we be asking you that? Fufufu~"

"Akabane and Ayano said that leaving you with the guys would help your story's plot move forward," Mizuno answers, setting down her bag as well before moving towards us. "Anyways, good morning!"

"Thank you, reliable Mizuno chan. Good morning to you too." I wave.

"Anyway, did anything happen yesterday?" Ayano asks.

"No? Nothing out of the ordinary."

"Eeeeh? Not even anything like someone walking you home?" Akabane prods.

"Well..."

"Gasp! Spill!" Ayano claps her hands excitedly.

"It's not that he walked me home, even though apparently he intended to, but more like Nishinoya san and I found out we were neighbors is all."

"Whaaaat? Really? You're neighbors with one of them? That's cool! Does that mean you guys went to school together this morning?" Akabane asks.

"Oh, no. We didn't they're part of the volleyball club after all, so he probably went out earlier than me for morning practice."

"Morning practice? Wow, they really do put in a lot of effort."

"Anyways," Mizuno says, "have you picked a club that you wanna join yet?"

"Oh right... clubs..." I mutter. I thought about it for a while before coming to a conclusion. "I don't know yet."

"Huh?!" Akabane questions, "all those clubs and you haven't decided?!"

"It's precisely because there are all those clubs that I haven't decided," I explained. "Don't worry, I'll find a club before the month ends!"

"Okay fi—"

"(l/n) chan...!" A familiar voice calls and I turn to see Ennoshita enter the classroom, leaving behind Nishinoya and Tanaka by the door, who were waving at enthusiastically.

"Good morning (l/n) san," Ennoshita greets as he settles his things on his desk beside mine. I greet him back. "Nishinoya and Tanaka want to talk to you. I think something at morning practice just gave them an idea."

I turn to find the two excitedly beckoning me over. "Just a sec," I tell the girls, before walking towards the two in the hallway.

"(l/n) chan! Be our club manager!" They simultaneously begged as I reached them.

"What?" I ask, taken aback by their sudden request. I usher them to the other side of the hallway, by the windows that displayed the view in front of the school, so we wouldn't get in the way of other people. "Don't you have Shimizu senpai?"

"Yes! But Kiyoko san needs help managing the club! She's also a third year, so she'd have to retire soon." Tanaka bounces on his toes.

"(l/n) chan! Please...? It will be so much fun if we become club mates too!" Nishinoya pleads, jumping energetically.
