I couldn't protect her!!

"Naira"-I shouted!!.

And in a blink of an eye, she was in a pool of blood..

I was ...I was devastated!! ....I tried to stand up but my legs were not supporting me. They became numb. I dragged myself to her.

No,this can't  happen to her...This can't..I mumbled to myself ...

I reached to her and took her head in my lap. I patted her cheeks...

Naira-I called out!

But she didn't reply....till then people surrounded us.. I keep my hand below her head to support her head..but when I saw my hand, it had blood...oh god!!... I saw her whole body... She had many injuries..I took her in my arms ...and shouted for help..

Someone took us to hospital...In the way...I was patting her cheeks time to time trying to wake her up ..

Naira.. please ankhe kholo...(tears were rolling down on my cheeks!!!,I can't let anything happen to her....

Soon,we reached hospital..but It was not soon for me...I felt it like many years...She was unconscious in my arms...badly bruised,injured...

My hands are still shivering....I took her into the hospital...

Doctor!-I shouted!..

Doctor.. doctor-I shouted again ...here she is lying lifeless... and they aren't listening...seeing her in this situation ...is piercing my heart.

I will die...if she will remain unconscious for more Time..I can't see her lifeless...I can't .

Then doctor came and she was taken in OT.

Mai bhi saath jaunga,,,

Dekhiye...aap andar nhi jaa skte..

Maine kaha na m jaunga(How can I leave her alone in this situation,why aren't they understanding I can't leave her alone...I can't leave my  naira alone....)

Dekhiye..plz aap time waste mt kijiye and hume apna kaam krne dijiye...unki jaan ko khatra bhi ho skta h...agar time pr unka ilaaj nhi hua toh!!..

Saying this,he went to OT.

I stood there motionless..

They were just few words-"Jaan ko khatra bhi ho skta h" but these were words acting like venom to me.

After sometime,doctor came out ..

I rushed to him,

Doctor,how is naira..Is she alright??...usse hosh aa gya...??I asked hoping for a positive ans.

Her condition is serious..we have to do some more tests ...then we will be able to tell you about her condition..He said and left.

I sat with a thud on the floor... thinking all worst possibilities... It's all my fault,I couldn't protect her...
I mumbled to myself..

Just then
I got a hope
A hope from God..
