Enjoying the companionship!!

They both were so close to each other that they could feel each others breath. Kartik couldn't control himself and he leaned more closer and kissed her forehead with pure love then kissed her eyes,then her tear strains as some tears made their way out of her eyes. He hate to see her like that. He can't see tears in her eyes. It hurts him like hell. He then kissed her both cheeks and seeing no hesitation, was about to capture her lips that Naira stopped him and ran away from there.

Kartik's heart thudded, didn't she like our proximity? Didn't she like me kissing her?
Was I about to force her? Many thoughts flooded his mind. He was very very guilty. Tears rolled down his cheek but then he wiped them and left from there.

On the other side, Naira ran away and she found a corner and started sobbing. She was not crying because he forced her or something. He didn't force her. She was sobbing because she hurt him. She could see the guilt written over his face when she stopped him from kissing her. She was crying because she was frustrated as her mind and her heart were saying different thing and she wasn't able to understand what's right?

Was the thing which she saw and heard 5 years ago right? Or the thing which she is seeing that's right?

He surely loves her, It can be seen in his eyes - Her heart said!

It can be your hallucinations-her mind argued!!

So,Were those kisses also hallucinations?-her heart counter argued!

It can also be in heat of the moment -Her mind again argued!

Just when her heart was again going to say something,she closed her ears and shouted 'stop' but these voices are not external that she can stop them so easily, It's her inner voice which can't be stopped that easily until she reach to any conclusion.

She wiped her tears and made her way towards her home.

They both went to their room directly and crashed on their bed crying so much with guilt,pain,hurt and uncertainties.

They didn't have their dinner and slept while crying.

hoping in their heart that the next day brings some happiness in their life.

Next day,

Naira reaches hotel early to distract herself.

She was walking that she bumped into a person.

She was frustrated before only so she shouted as if taking out all her frustration on that person.

"Can't you see while walking"-She shouted but after some seconds she felt guilty for saying so rudely, so when she looked up to apologize.. she met with his dark brown orbs..so hypnotising but they were red and puffy as if cried whole night.

Seeing him in this condition stabbed her heart and a wave of guilt rushed over her.

Kartik,on the other side was determined that he will bring smile on Naira's face..The actual smile not the fake one.

Whether she loves him or not but still somewhere in his heart,he wanted Naira to love him but kept aside that thought.

He was amazed after seeing her this side,an angry one..He has never seen her angry.

He with an amazed smile looked towards her.

And she was all perplexed with his that smile but he was looking charming wearing that smile,She thought!!

"Mai to dekhkr hi chal rha tha,I think aapki ankhe kharab ho gyi h"(he actioned towards his eyes with his two forefingers)

"Meri ankhe bilkul thik h" She too actioned towards her eyes with her two forefingers )

"Nhi aapki ankhe kharab h"!he again said

Naira raised her one finger towards him and said
"Meri ankhe bilkul thik h"

"Kharab h"

"Thik h"

"I said kharab h"

"And I said thik h"

"Kharab h!!"

"Thik h!!"

Both were fighting while raising their fingers towards each other.

All the customers were Looking at them, and giggling seeing this cute pair fighting over a silly thing!

Then hotel manager came,

"Ma'am,sab dekh rhe h.. please stop it"

Kartik and naira realized their surroundings and went to Naira's cabin being quite embarrassed!!

When they reached,they laughed clutching their stomach!!

After damn 5 years,they were laughing heartily. Being with each other was giving them so much 'sukun'.

They were laughing but then kartik stopped and was admiring Naira who was still laughing, In that time,Her laugh was his favourite music. He so wanted to see her like this -carefree, always happy. Seeing her like this,he felt responsible for her happiness.

Soon Naira realized that she was only who is laughing and stopped laughing.

There was an awkward silence between them but kartik decided to break it.

"Naira,lets start our work"

"Y..Yeah.. let's start!!"

He didn't bring yesterday's topic before her because the things would have been awkward then. So decided not to discuss it.

Soon they got busy in their work enjoying their small moments. They were enjoying each other' companionship. They were falling for each other more and more unaware to each other. Few days passed like this,they were understanding each other and working nicely with each other. They were just working with each other nothing more but that piece of work was also teaching them different things like trusting each other, forgiving each other if they do any mistake but doing all these things with each other.. together!!
