You had been standing in front of the door to your shared room for a solid five minutes, playing scenarios through your head, wondering whether the ghost you had been rooming with all this time would be standing in there waiting for you.
There was no need to be nervous, Moonbyul hadn't done anything to harm you, so why were you hesitating?
You opened the door, and stepped into the room.
There she was, in the middle of the room, a coldness emitted from her body and spreading throughout the enclosed space.
She seemed different now that you knew she was dead. You couldn't help but look at the dark mark that ran around the upper part of her neck. You don't remember seeing it before.
"Hello again, roomie," she smiled at you faintly.

"I guess... I wanted to see if you were truly up to it. That you were here for business." She shrugged, the tips of her silver hair drifting slightly, as if in water.
"People who have dubbed themselves as paranormal investigators have shown up in the past. They had no idea what they were getting themselves into. They didn't end well, so I wasn't sure what to think about you. But you...You and your friend are different. I believe you will put an end to this."
