Part Two

If only one's dream, then what does time bring?

Old memories pass, then the future begins.

Perhaps a new love born unto the spring,

vanished are heartaches, and sorrow, and sin.

With renewal of life, promise of joy,

for hope has erased the hurt and the grief.

Aged tears replaced by love never destroyed,

a lifetime of faith instilled with belief.

Yet, still lurks the cold heart beating untrue,

a new name, new face that has yet to learn,

but this soul so unknown has secrets, too.

And the lone thief will have his chance to yearn.

In still water lies truth like leaves that dance,

waiting to resurface in time by chance.
