And so the hours flew past and you know what that means it's detention time yay. Note my sarcasm. Seeing that Mia was already in class when I received detention so she already knew. Which brings me here in Mrs Greens classroom with a few learners that received detention for who knows what reason.
The bell rings signaling us that detention has officially started so I take out my pen as I sit in my desk ready to start writing my lines byt I'm waiting for Mrs Green to hand out the pages.
"Before I hand out your pages I have a very special announcement to make" Mrs Green says as everyone is pays attention to her.
Let me guess a test
"We have a new transfer student" she said.
Yeah I told you it's a tes- wait what student
"Come on in Mr Williams" Mr Williams... It can't possibly be who I think it is.
And in comes Brad with his messy brown hair white shirt and black jeans and his hands in his pockets.
"Take a seat next to Zoe" Mrs Green says I didn't need to raise my hand because he already met me as he looks at me I smile and he smiles back showing his dimples cute.
"Ok pay attention in detention you guys already know what to write each of you have different lines" Mrs Green says as she hands out the pages for the learners including me and Brad.
"I'm going to the office so I expect it to be done when I come back" I can tell everyone wanted to groan in response but decided to keep quiet because they probably didn't want to end up writing five hundred lines.
"Get started" she shouted and then grabbed her bag and left the classroom. I didn't hesitate to start writing although I do write fast and a writing the same sentence for a hundred times should be easy.
*A while later*
"Forgot must rest in peace and I must do my work" one hundred...finally my hands couldn't take it anymore I look over at Brad and his already done.
"When were you done" I ask him and here I thought I write fast.
"20 minutes ago" he shrugs his shoulders.
"What was your sentence" I curiously asked him with a small laugh.
"I shouldn't sleep in class or I'll sleep in life" I place a hand in front of my mouth so that I wouldn't burst out laughing.
"That doesn't even make sense" he says while chuckling a little.
"So I didn't know you were a transfer student" I told him.
"Yeah I just moved here because of my mom's job she's a lawyer so yeah" he says with a small smile.
"Oh my dad's a lawyer"
"Surprisingly I'm liking the town the people I've met here are genuinely kind hearted people besides Mrs Green" he says in a jokingly tone.
"Facts" I say.
As if on cue the bell rings and the she devil that looks like a raisin walks in.
"Papers on my desk you may leave in a orderly manner" she says as I grab my bag as I place my pen in the back pocket of my jeans, I pick up my page and place it on her desk.
As I'm walking out of class I feel a hand grab a hold on my wrist I turn around and see Brad.
"Yeah" I say as I look at him with confusion.
"So can I get your number maybe... It's ok if you don't want to I understand" Brad says as he scratches the back of his neck if I didn't know any better it's probably a nervous habit.
"Sure" I smile as I grabbed his hand and I took the pen out from my back pocket and wrote my number on his hand.
"You could have just punch it on my phone you know" He says while smiling.
"Nah I roll old school" I say as I make my way down the hallways.
"So I'll call you" he shouts out.
"You will" I shout back while smiling.
Once I got home I decided there's nothing left for me to do because Mia went home and it's just me so I decided to plan a date with Logan but first I would have to give him a call.
