ONE QUESTION

Chapter 13

Let's just say I woke up this morning with a smile on my face not because of the date, actually it was because of the date but also because of the beautiful gift Logan left me last night night on my dresser. What gift you ask... Well..

Flashback to earlier:
I woke up this morning and did my morning routine to get ready for school and ended up wearing a army pants and a black boob tube top and a pair of white sneakers because why not ...when I grabbed my phone on my dresser and noticed a royal blue velvet jewellery box I picked up the box and opened it there was a small piece of paper in it that said and I quote "this was the gold necklace engraved with the name "Zo" and a small crown on the top corner of my name I couldn't help but smile and place the necklace around my neck.

Back to present:
Which brings me here in Math class, the only class were Mia is not in but surprisingly Brad is in here which is not half bad if you ask me.

"When solving equations we know what the value of the unknown variable is enabling us when solving equations to fully solve the equations. It is very important to show the first step when substituting the values into the equation" my math sir Mr Williams explains.

One of the very few teacher's that's last name isn't a colour and he's actually super cool like once we done with the work that his given and he signs it we can basically sit with our phones for the rest of the period.

"Zoe if P is five and K is twelve, then calculate the value of six P plus ten PK squared" Mr Williams says while looking at me along with the rest of the students in the class.

Maths is easy I totally got this in the bag

I walk over to the chalk board writing the equation down:
6P+10PK²
=6(5)+10(5)(12)²
=30+10(5)(144)
=30+50+(144)
=30+72000
=72,030

Once I'm done I make my way back to my seat smiling at my awesome answer as Mr Williams examines it to check if it's right, how I wish Mia was here so that she could see my awesomeness.

"Your answer is correct as always Zoe" Mr Williams says while giving me the "good job" look.

"Chad if A equals one, B is two and C equals three, calculate D if A over B minus C over D plus B"

"Sir I don't know, Sir can't expect me to know the answer to that it's so difficult" Chad says while sinking further into his chair.

It's not even that hard the answer is negative hal-

"The answer is negative half" Brad says confidently in his answer oh so he is smart not that I didn't know that though.

"I knew that" Chad mumbles.

"Sure you did" Mr Williams says as he shake's his head and makes his way to the desk.

As I'm about to lay my head on the desk I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket.
I take it out and see there's a message from a unknown number.

Unknown number:
I see you know your maths

I look over and see Brad smirking at me I roll my eyes playfully and I typing a message to Brad.

Me: Look when he finally decided to hit me up.

I look over at him to find him smiling at his phone.

Brad: So just to clarify... You were waiting for me to send a message?

Me: That's what you said... I said no such thing.

I look over to him and see him chuckling a little.

Brad: Sure thing... Hey I was hoping we could have a study session for geography at Rose's Diner... If you're free.
