"So Ozone is found in the stratosphere and the main function of the ozone is to absorb the harmful ultra-violet suns rays" I say while explaining to Brad the meaning of Ozone.
"So hold up your telling me that if we didn't have the ozone layer then we would all burn into a crisp" he says with a shocked expression written on his face.
"Pretty much" I shrug.
"Mind blown" he says as be takes a sip of his chocolate milkshake as I take a sip of my strawberry shake.
"So how are you fitting into the school and everything" I ask while leaning towards him on the table with a curios look on my face.
"Oh I'm fitting in fine I guess you could say I was going to try out for the football team but seeing that that the school year is coming to a end I figured I'll try out next year and I chill with the boys of the football team so yeah all's good and well" I just smiled and nodded my head, it's great that his fitting in well because most people that transfers here which rarely ever happens but if it was to happen then you would immediately become the outcast.
"Aside from this girl named Kyra who's starting to get on my nerves everything is good" He says with a hint of annoyance in his voice.
Hold up did he just say kyra
"Kyra as in Kyra Bennett" I mumble.
"Yeah that's the one, she was talking to me earlier about me needing to give her my number and that I should call her sometime but I know girls like her so I just said "whenever I'm available"" I let out a small laugh as he chuckles and suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder so I look up and the last person whom I expected to see is in front of me.
"Hiii babe what's up" Logan says with a smirk on his face.
How I wish I could wipe that smirk off his face.
"Nothing" I shrug while taking a look at Brad and by the looks on his face he looks both annoyed and uncomfortable by Logan's presents.
And if thing's could not possibly get worst the devil himself decided that now's the perfect time to open his mouth.
"Hey weren't we supposed to go on our date today" what date, he never informed me about any date at all.
"Um... Can I talk to you alone for a second" I ask Logan.
"Yeah sure" He says as he walks outside to which I followed behind and gave a sympathetic look at Brad to which he just gave a small smile.
Once we got outside I pushed Logan not that it did any justice because his way taller and stronger than me.
"Aww is princess Zo mad" he says while pouting like a child.
"What are you doing here?" I whisper yelled and crossed my arms.
"Last I checked it's a free world Zo" he smirked as I huffed in annoyance.
"Fine then why would you do that infront of Brad you do know that no one knows we are dating right, we'll besides Mia and Kieth" I say while rolling my eyes.
"Didn't you know that your mine for the month" he says while walking over to me and right on cue Brad walks out the diner with my books and his in his hands.
"I should probably get going, I already paid the cheque don't worry bout that" Brad says as he hands me my books to which I took.
"Ok... So I guess I'll see you at school then, maybe" I say as he just smiles and walks over to his car.
Tomorrow I should definitely apologize to Brad for ending our study session on a bad note
"So I guess I'll just see you at school tomorrow" Logan mocks me in a girl voice.
"I do not sound like that" I push his arm playfully while laughing a little.
"I'm going to call a uber then" I say while taking my phone out with my free hand that wasn't holding my books.
"Why do you want to call a uber didn't I mention we're going on a date" Logan smirks while grabbing my books and grabbing my hand with his free hand, dragging me to his car.
"I don't even know were we going, I need to change into something a little more decent don't you think" I say as we continue walking hand in hand to the car.
"No matter what you wear you'll always look great" He says while facing me.
"Sure I do" I roll my eyes playfully to which he just chuckles.
"So where are we going" I ask him.
"Bowling" oh god no, I can't bowl to save my life I'm practically an embarrassment when it comes to me bowling.
One time I threw the ball and it didn't end up in the gutter, it ended up in the ceiling and to be honest I don't even know how that happened, heck I didn't even know that was possible.
"Why bowling" I groan.
"Should there be a specific reason as to why I want to take you bowling" I didn't know what to say so I just kept quiet but Logan took my silence as a answer.
"Exactly" this night is about to end horribly.
